Nice post ! Unfortunatly my vapor shark 200 will not charge going back for repairs . I have had it twelve days. Vapor shark was quick to respond to the problem , on a Saturday no less.

The DNA200 has a monochrome display (it only displays black and white). Red will be shown as black. Here's one I made that will illustrate that. I think it came out pretty good.

gadget keith how did you make your lettering red also?

when i did the so called ribbon fix before replacing the faceplate i just cut a small strip of clear red plastic packaging and placed it in front of the screen

gives the orange red look and also acts as a screen protector

keep meaning to try one half and half so it looks two tone ie watts in red and the rest blue

just tinted plastic over the screen
