Did I rewrap these batteries right?

The wrap looks alright, but I'm wondering about the insulator -- I can't see it, unless it's black...? Usually they're white, like paper reinforcements for 3-ring binder notebooks. I don't know a lot about the tech, but I think you do need the insulators.

Top looks good, dunno about the bottom :p good idea about getting colored wraps

There are all kindsa colors just like wraps - mine are black just like that

Yea its black the previous insulators doesn't have the adhesive. So, I added this one be much easier to work with and less hassle since the other insulators don't have adhesive. When I get my purple pvc wraps I'm gonna replace the clear ones and post it up later some time this week.

I haven't wrapped either. The batteries are new LG Browns - 28 of them.
I bought married wraps of different patterns for my dual mods.
I'll just keep the browns brown for my single mods for now.
Good to know on the black insulator. I've seen vids of re wrapping and the insulator flew off.

With the adhesive on way much easier to put on. If u want u can get em different colors wraps and adhesive from https://www.imrbatteries.com/18650-wraps/

The old insulator ALWAYS goes flying when you use a hair dryer.

The black sticker insulators are worth every penny.

Not always. Mine never do, and a hairdryer is all I've used. I just keep my finger on it till I get most of the positive side tightened, only letting go of it when I can see that the wrap is holding it in place.

These are cardboard insulator rings with adhesive. Been using them for a long time.

They stick well and sit on the shelf well, had more than a few that the adhesive would dry out if not used almost immediately.

Looks good to me! So long as the insulator is in place and the positive and negative are exposed enough to connect with your mod. Looks good man!
