Coil help

so im a mildly avid cloud chaser, and upgrading to the, SXmini G class mod, the 25mm goon rda, and found some 100% vg e juice,

what are the thoughts on this build? what would be the best coils to use that i can buy, and safest operating range for best clouds?

any advice and info would be greatly appreciated.

I tagged on of our resident builders for you. Hell definitely be able to help out. But goon 25 on a g class I bet looks sweet. I'd say a dual alien setup would be best of both worlds for clouds and flavor. I rock them on a few mechs and they're top notch vape days when I use them.

Thanks for the tag my friends! With the hardware you outlined in your post, and as an Alien coil specialist, I would recommend a 5 core N80 paired set of coils. 38 gauge over 28 or 29 gauge. Negligible ramp up, amazing flavor, and huge clouds! For the more mellow vaping times, I'd drop down to a 4 core Alien set.

The man doesn't just tell you about it. He shows you as well. Beautiful pics btw.

sorry for the late response didnt expect such a quick reply, thanks for help and input seriously, and noice coil pics and nice high walls on that deck,

since posting this, i was leaning towards mech mods actually, and found an, avid lyfe medieval gyre slayer, and use the asgard 25mm rda and taking the drip tip from the cloudy collaborations strife 25mm rda all in matte black, thought that would look cool almost like a viking found this vape build on a battlefield, then i would be using the sony murata vtc5d 18650 2800mah 25a battery, was looking at running, annealed nickel wire ni200 24 gauge awg 0.16 ohms/ft @ room temp, looked up ohms law calculator and if the wire holds true and with these batteries, the output should put it around,

.16 ohms
23.125 amps
3.7 volts
85.5625 wattage

however going to .10 ohms will increase amps to 37 and wattage to 136.9 which will definitely put the battery into a dangerous situation to possibly vent/explode, how reliable is your average wire? does the resistance drop as it gets older, used, and tempetature outside changes, in anyones experience increasing the amps/wattage? thought about this just in case, before i heard anyones thoughts and with going to a 26 gauge ni200 .24 resistance would drop the amps to 15.4166667 and the wattage to 57.0416667 so even with the possible fluctuation of wire resistance if there even is such a thing with extended and prolonged use i will still remain in the safe range of the batterys capabilities,

heard nickel is the fastest wire for heating up but titanium wire also heats up quickly and cools down quickly with double the resistance of nickel, of course i will need to test all of this on the decks for resistance with different wire coil builds attached, also, does stacking wires increase the resistance if i twisted and stacked 2 or 3 together? dragonskin looked cool and seems relatively easy to make and would definitely go with my build, lots of how to videos on wire coil builds on youtube, heard somewhere sub ohming is good for clouds so super sub ohming around .16 would be definitely as far as i would go but wasnt sure whether or not resistance fluctuation after continued use pushing the battery into potential dangerous output levels near .10 resistance or does resistance never change no matter the length of usage? but of course the wire coils need to be eventually changed, so thats why i think to ask this, want to go .16 but will probably go .24, or might just get both and keep monitoring the resistance for coils life, how long do you think i can use a dragonskin ni200 wire coil build for? backing off from chain vaping no less

thoughts on this new build? input on wire type and gauge? super sub ohming? also i dont plan to chain vape as heavily anymore which will be easier on the mod/battery and all that, want to maintain eating healthy and working out, any information would be greatly appreciated.

No Nickel. No Titanium. Those alloys are safe for temperature control ONLY. Nickel on a mech can literally cause a dead short resulting in battery venting. Titanium, if heated above certain temperatures creates various forms of titanium dioxide, which is not only a carcinogen, but is potentially lethal if inhaled. Your safe alloy options on a mech are: Nichrome 80, Nichrome 90, Kanthal (all variations, but A1 is most common), and Stainless Steel (most variations, but 316L is most common).

alright, and yea read about that titanium, hard to find someone who knows something, asking people who claim to be vaping for years but cant answer these questions,

coilology has some 3-28/36 - Ni80 dragonskin coils with resistance outputs of .21 which is just around what i was looking for, in my search for these questions i found most of the answers myself and with you now confirming this i should be chucking clouds plenty, with a sick build, appreciate the help and info, especially concerning the wire.

didnt know you sold coils here, nice, this is where i was planning on getting the coils from, they seem reputable enough:

was looking to buy in bulk of n90 armored dragonskin coils with a specfic targeted resistance of .17 to .2 in a dual combined set up, anything lower then .16 resistance with the single sony vtc5d 18650 25A batteries i use is no good.
