We want to take the time to address some happenings here on VU and will give our best explanation as to our stance is on people copying recipe's once they are posted on the forum
First there is no legal way to copyright a recipe alone (http://www.copyright.gov/fls/fl122.html) , if it were a printed book of recipes then that is different, but once posted it is fair game.
Staff @ VU will not be not responsible nor will take any actions on any member/guest/ or Vendor wishing to copy a posted recipe.
Complaints or otherwise.
Our advise to the person posting the recipe is to be aware that what you post for recipes runs the risk of being copied and reposted by another, possibly claiming ownership of it.
