You do understand cats don't get smarter with age they just crazier.The "Weenie" is my mentally challenged cat.
While she is extremely lovable and loving, the poor thing has the IQ of a brick.
She gets excited and runs into stuff constantly. She will go to jump up on the back of a chair and overshoot.
She still has not quite gotten the concept that if she were to scratch at a door, possibly a human would open it for her.
Instead, she will just sit and stare at it until someone either opens it or she get's distracted by something else.
Also walks around and "Talks" to herself.
Damn, we LOVE that cat!
