Can certain juice make your rda taste like metal when using it

I was using a juice that made every coil i built taste like metal now that i switched i dont have the same taste TIA.

I had that happen once with a blue raspberry flavor, in some juice I mixed myself. In my experience the answer to your question is yes, absolutely.

Did you happen to change to a different type of coil. Some people can taste kanthal more than stainless steel or nichrome80. Ss and N80 have a cleaner taste for sure but I never had issues with any.

Agree, different juices can cause RDA/s, coil/s get a taste. Limited in taste as I am, I think SS gives the cleanest taste, Nichrome next, Kanthal last. Not tried titanium.

I have been using SS for so long when I use NI80 everything tastes different. Why , I don't know...

I notice a seemingly very slight grit texture with the vapor when using Kanthal. Likely this may be just something I imagine. Nichrome to me tastes hot in as much as a temperature can taste and it is not a stable heat but one that varies too much, too rapidly. Again that too is likely something I imagine.

The main vendor I get wire from has a very high well earned, reputation, for producing very clean wire. This extends to even their Kanthal. Knowing that is cause enough for me to realize I possibly do imagine so much of a difference between the various wire types. This does not fully say it is my imagination only, because I note others also discuss in similar manner differences in wire.

What I am saying is that while I know to a point users can perceive anything regarding wire, there is a converse counter point that possibly these perceptions are factual. I am holding two otherwise exclusive ideas in balance as one synthesized whole idea. I'm as sure that some differences do factually exist as sure as I am some do not. I think that's a fair summation of it.

I am the same but in teverse. I am 96% ni80 so the ss i run in my wifes mtl tastes funny to me. N i hate ka.
