yeah that thing is not a genny...that is what back in the day we called a self feeding dripper but which the chinese have marketed as a "genisis style" tank which is no more a genny than a pork bun is a doughnut.

I bought two from Catfish at the other place a couple years ago, not sure if it came with pins or he just replaced the pins.

but you are right the origen drippers are a good idea for vertical builds and they are squonk friendly.
I've just put some ss mesh in the Gaia but I'm not squonking it yet. The flavor seems off, too hot or too much metal flavor? Yes, it's still my first ss mesh build so I can improve, i hope.
I've run vertical coils in the Mulciber and Pancake. Mulciber single coil, Pancake duals. Excellent flavor from both with verts.
I love the Origen V3 but the super high squonk hole leaves the well filled with juice and I ended up spilling it out the air holes on the regular.
