Battery For Smok Magneto

Hello all,

So Ive decided to buy my first mechanical mod and have decided to go with the SmokTech Magneto. Being new to this, I'm not really sure what kind of battery to purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I have yet to break into the world of rebuildables so I'm thinking about going with GeniTank Mega.Would this be a good tank for the Magneto? Does this affect the type of battery I should use?

That Genitank has a 1.8 Ohm coil in it. Your vapor production will drop fairly quickly with a mechanical. I suggest you look at an APV like the 20 or 30 watt iStick if you want to run that tank. plus you can run other attys on it as well. If you want to run the tank on the magneto, use Kanger dual coil subohm coil heads. I would suggest starting off with .8 ohm, Get a pack of .5 ohm coil heads as well.

The magneto can use an 18350, 18500, 18650 battery. The 18350 is small, not a lot of vape time, the 18650 is the largest you can use, and you will get more vape time. The magneto is a proven mechanical. Get a few good good batteries like the 18650 LG HE4 2500Mah 35 amp to be on the safe side.
