AVS coils - run hotter than nichrome 80

Just installed some four core stainless steel pre made coils from advanced vape supply. Very high quality. The coil reads at .26 and I’m finding it runs way hotter than other coils. I’m using an smm at around 45 Watts in a battlestar. Is this normal?

Thanks

So it means they run hotter so I should run it at a lower wattage? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question
Strictly speaking wattage is wattage.
It is more a matter of coil design and mass.
But yes to get your desired temperature run lower wattage.
As with any atty/coil combo fine tune the wattage for the vape that suits you.

No ptoblem.
with any atty and coil combo a different wattage may be needed.
differences in airflow, chamber size, etc
And even the same coil will not vape exactly the same in 2 different attys.
