Hi
Just saw these new Imren 18650 batts at my local vape shop..claims they are 38A continuous discharge rate and 2600 mAh...is this true? I've never heard of these batts before. Thx

I have a couple of the 26650's. They are pretty good. What are they asking for them?

I found a little on Reddit. Not encouraging. http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/2jceco/imren_18650_38a_2600_mah_battery/
This was linked to testing against a vtc5.

I hadn't really seen any testing on them before. Just questions. I was hoping that they might be more positive.

I picked up 4 of these because they were cheap and my last VTC4 and purple efest are old and not holding a charge well. They arrived this afternoon all at 3.65v. I'll start testing them tomorrow on a mech and report back.

Thanks! I'll be anxious to know what the tests might reveal..

Update
I've been using these Imren batts now for about a week in my XXIX/Zenith at .14 ohms...the 2600 ml rating must be close to specs because I've vaped on it on and off all day at the casino and when I put it in the digital charger just now it reads 3.9v .. they are actually working out better than I expected...

It's been almost a week since I started using these. I ordered 4 of them. 2 to save and marry in a dual 18650 mod that I'm building and the other two to rotate in my mechs. One of them significantly outperforms the 35A Efest (I only have one of these to compare to) and the other is just a tad less than equal. I don't have any fancy scientific equipment to test them on, just my experience with them.

Using them on the same mod with the same atty that has not been rebuilt. One appears to have much less internal resistance because I can use it down to 3.7v before I notice any drop in flavour or vapor production and the other starts to lack around 3.9v to 4v. I have also observed that they like to rest longer in between chain vaping for best performance than some of the others.
