Angelcigs Gone Bad

I was about to place an order this morning for 2 mods and 2 attys and right before I was about to complete checkout it told me that shipping would be $15.90 - WTF?! USPS w/tracking, that's ridiculous. I buy and sell a lot, so I'm familiar with the general costs of shipping vape gear and $15.90 is absurd for such a small order.
Angelcigs has done away with their free shipping on orders over $15 and they are now shipping by weight. Bad business.
To be fair, they have lowered their prices on everything, and the prices are good, but to usurp buyers with outlandish shipping charges is not acceptable.

As of September 3, 2014 Angelcigs will no longer be offering free shipping for orders over 15$, prices have been lowered across all products to balance out the cost difference, The fee for shipping will be based on weight for a first class package.


How is Angelcigs shipping fee calculated?

Shipping fee depends on the total weight of the orders.
If the order is 84g or less, we'll fixedly charge 4 USD.
If the order is over 84g, we'll charge 0.7 USD per 28g for the excess portion.
For example, if total weight of your order is 108g, we'll charge 4+0.7=4.7 USD.

Wow, that's insane! I guess it only pays to order lighter items. I've been wanting another taifun, so its nice that it is cheaper now and I don't have to wait as long as I would ordering directly from China.

The old trick, of making it look like your getting it cheap, but then put the price on shipping, I put the akuma mod in cart and shipping cost was $7.50, I've shipped plenty of vape related things, and even with 2 day priority mail, it doesn't cost that much.

The shipping fee include the fee we ship products from China to USA + USPS shipping fee, it's not only USPS fee.

I don't know what the price was before, so sure you are right, but did check the black stingray which I did buy from you for $29.99, with new shipping costs it is now $32.10, but guess it evens out over the board, maybe you can explain why it got changed around.

And what really sucks about all of this is that not only have Angelcigs changed their prices for shipping. They now ONLY ship to the US ! They no longer accept orders from anywhere else ! I tried to place an order yesterday to Canada and I ended up having to take my money somewhere else. What a dumb way to lose customers.

It seems Angelcigs now claims that the US warehouse is just a drop ship outlet that they do not control and I am beginning to suspect that they do not even control the website as just last week it was possible for Canadians to order from the site and they would just ship the item out from China to Canada which at this time is no longer possible. This is a ridiculous situation as nearly every US vender is willing to sell and ship to Canada when we pay with US dollars.

Until they fix this they are losing customers and revenue. I know that at this time they have lost me as a customer and my $$$ as well.
