So I understand there are trends in vaping, no drip tip, big ass holes, derlin, crystal, ect.

So I made this post to ask what the hell these things are and why do I want/need them?

No drip tip/naked rba, helps cloud chasing apparently?

Derlin, helps so your drip tip doesn't get hot as hell.

Big ass holes, airflow overdose for cloud chasing.

Now they started to loose me at the following.

Crystal drip tips/mod tops? Any advantage over derlin/glass (better at not getting heated) or just a shiny new fixture to say, "ooh look at me"?

Chuff caps? Okay now what the fuck am I looking at? I see a really, really big drip tip with some lines etched into it (sometimes)?

Glass mod tops (trinity tanks)? So uh... Why? That's about all I have to say... I have mutation x v4 built for airflow control, and I should upgrade it to no airflow control because...?

I should state I like to chase clouds but these things just look like ridiculous doohickeys to me and if they aren't I'd love somebody to explain to me why.

Okay delrin is the best at dissipating heat for drip tips and chuff caps. A chuff is essentially a wide bore drip tip that doesn't use the standard 510 connection size, typically a 10mm or larger bore. Your mutation should be fine with the wide bore tip the include and the airflow open. You don't need to remove it. My question is do you want to enter cloud comps or just casually cloud chase?

I plan to go both. Casually for fun but if I can get decent enough I'm going to go to some local ones maybe.

Recently saw one of the Trinity Glass top caps you mentioned. The guy said the glass dissapated the heat quicker and he was able to get an extra couple of seconds on the inhale before it got too hot to keep his lips on. I guess in a comp every second counts lol.

Most of it is gimmicky things that catch peoples eye and they buy due to impulse purchasing. Glass is a Heat Insulator and thats about as good as that goes besides being able to do coilporn pics with the cap on.
Chuff Caps are good for RDA's becuase you can drip through and pull more air through with less effort.
Things that should make a better RDA for cloud chasing:
Large chamber, big airflow, large post holes, wide open deck with atleast a 4mm juice well. delrin widebore/chuff tip, protruding copper 510 pin, and a square/ or shaped peek insulator.

I recently saw a suggestion (a few actually) for a guy with my exact rda. I want one but at the price of a decent rda it's questionable.

Have you seen anything about the trinity glass competition caps? Or if not they have duel 8-10 mm airflow holes, would that be co considered good enough?

Also what rda's would you suggest? I have I have a mutation x v4 and a project sub ohm swirlfish v2.

I havent tried the Glass Caps yet but if you want to try and have a similar experience buy a variant of the Fishbone RDA.
A list of RDA's with big holes that are decent and have all the check boxes checked above(Off the top of my head):
Sapor
Twisted Messes and Mini version
13 Heavens 9 Hells and Mini version
El Cabron
INDESTRUCTIBLE ATTY RDA
Dark Horse
PhenotypeL
Lush
Doge V2/X2
Mutation X 2/3
Velocity
Noxus
Dinghy

I'll look into each of those. I keep hearing about the dark horse and it looks beautiful. Only problem is I have a 4 post hole addiction. I love the posts on the velocity but I see that most people use 3 posts though, any reason?
Also do do you have any experience with any of them?

I own quite a few of them, some people are stuck in there ways with what they have used since the Stillaire came out. I like 4 Posts and Velocity style the most, its easier to fit a build, especially if its a large and beastly. I love the top 4 on the list and their minis and the Velocity so far, I would like to try the rest sometime soon.

I always see the dark horse and the velocity mentioned. Right now I'm trying to decide between the velocity and the bullet. Velocity has some amazing airflow options and I love the quad coil capability of it. As for the bullet it just seems nice for the price IMO.

Buy the Tobecco Velocity clone. It has the same quality of the Authentic but a price of $20-$30 brand new, I bought one that was used a couple times for $8 on ebay and its a great RDA. Not only does it have great airflow and build options it has everything else you would want in a RDA. It can fit builds I couldnt fit in any other rda and it looks good on almost any mod.

Yea the Crimson Limited Edition Snow Wolf, those are my pics from the Post Your Builds Thread, should pop in to see what everyone uses and catch anything that you may enjoy or may not want in a RDA/Mod

Just asked because I have the same mod except I got it in black so it would go with more RDAs, now I know you used it with the same mod so I'm a bit more confident in buying one.

All beautiful, glad I bought something that someone who has a lot of mods loves.

I saw it when I was browsing for my first regulated mod and instantly fell in love with it, watched 3 reviews on it, bought it. Fastest I've ever seen something make me drop 135 dollars without even hesitating.
