A Priv firmware update

I was given an older A Priv that will turn on, but will not fire. I'm guessing it needs firmware update? All contacts are clean, it even says "Check Atomizer" when the tank is taken off and the fire button is pushed. Not sure why it's not working, because it's acting like it is, but the volts are saying .02-.03 when trying to fire.

Is the center pin (on the mod & the atomizer) in good, clean working order?
It's possible that the center pin isn't making contact with the atomizer.
What you describe the mod doing what the mod would do if the 510 pin wasn't making contact.
