8 Milwaukee teens hospitalized with severe lung damage

Siblings of a 26-year-old man from Burlington also reported their brother was hospitalized in critical condition this week after vaping THC from a cartridge he bought on the street.

Some teens reported that they had been buying vaping products — nicotine and THC — on the black market,

The 26-year-old man was brought in during the middle of the night Monday. He was quickly admitted to the ICU and was fighting for his life, family members told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He had been vaping THC oil from a cartridge he bought on the black market.

Lots of keywords there:
  1. "Oil" - Big 'no no' in vaping. Worse 'homemade oils'. We already take this for granted.
  2. "THC" - Aside from holding one's breath to get maximum hit, the proportion of THC to CBD could have been off the charts. Moreover, all kinds of contaminants and impurities were probably introduce in the extraction of the THC oil.
  3. "cartridge" - Likely recycled and in a severely deteriorated condition (by tons of street users???); again, swimming in contaminants and random material.
  4. "black market" - nuff said

This is what I'm talkin about. ALL the uniformed public will hear is:

Vaping

Teens

Hospitalized

My bet is that most of the politicians already know the truth about vaping. It's not gonna make any difference to them. They need the voting public to hear and believe stories like this. They need this so that they can continue to condemn vaping and keep those big lobbyist dollars from the other side flowing into their campaign coffers.

Not one in a thousand is actually going to do any meaningful research on this once the television has told them what they believe. Think of some of the conversations that you may have already even had yourself.
