coil wire

The only thing that pops into my mind is perhaps a difference in material being used, but I'd like to know if there's any significant difference between e.g. unbranded fused clapton wire (priced at 2-3$ for 5m) and the same (branded) types that cost nearly three times as much (for the same amount).

so. I'm a bit newer to this forum but I thought I would post this Many of you just getting into Coil Building start asking which wire to get first.......then you build one and use it...after a bit you want to know some better builds to do and which wires should I buy. What's the cheapest...
