I absolutely love my T-GT. For some reason it is the easiest to build, lowest maintenance, best flavor, and most cloud i get out of all my attys. (I only have 5, but still). If i had to do it all over again i would have skipped the Aqua and gotten another GT.

Hey David... with 3 of the same tanks and 3 diff coil builds (assuming all single coil, right?) which one is best flavor and decent clouds? Just curious. (And... what vg% are you using?)

ok.. so built it last night and HOLY SHIT... the flavor is so much better than my KF .. I don't understand it.. but now I wish I had 5 more of these things... Just the fact that I can rewick without emptying the tank is the best function and you all were right - building it is a breeze as well.

very happy with the purchase and looks like I'll be getting a few more very soon

Bryce's Custard is good.. but I do like nicoticket's better - It has a flavor note I just can't put my finger on.. its not bad in anyway - i just get way more custard than vanilla and maybe thats not my preference? I dunno.. but either way I would recommend it as its still tasty as hell

Ok.. well I'm getting some leaking through the center post onto my mod.. any idea what is causing this?

I raised up the airhole (in between the deck just a little bit because the video i watched said to adjust based on the height of the coil) any idea if this is the cause?

Yes, it is whats causing the leak from bottom, leave a space between the coil and air hole, it does not need to be sitting so close. I actually make sure I give a good pull up on the coil before I wick. Air hole was fine the way it was, your still going to get good vape considering it's a tighter draw on this rba, if you flood the tank with too loose of a wick it will leak from the air hole and unfortunately into your mouth. Just watch that O ring on the top of the base, it's tends to get caught in the threading and snaps, I replaced mine with a tighter O ring

its not leaking from the airhole.. its leaking from the 510 connection

Yes, I know, I gave to much info for different types of leaks, sorry to confuse you....I have about every issues using this specific model
Your smothering the hole, coils to close, just give it a pull up and it might be ok

ok gotcha - thanks!

should I push the airhole as low as it will go against the deck? I thought I had the coil pretty high but I'll take a look at it again..
its not leaking like crazy.. its barely anything but just like to avoid it obviously in the next build

See attached pics, don't know if this will help. I am sure everyone has there own opinion of what works for them.
I raise my coil slightly and I do cut my wicks fairly short, I get a constant crackle as I vape and that's my preference

Hey bud. Yes all single coil i tried dual coil sleeper wasn't impressed. Anyway the result really all depends on the juice Your using. But for the most part my most versatile would. Be the .9 ohm build

Ok cool - thanks for the pics.. I have my wick a bit too high I think... had to keep it high on my kayfun to keep it wicking correctly so I'll build it a bit lower next time

So angelcigs had the Taifun GT 5.0mL on sale this week. I purchased 2 of them and already received them.
I did not not realize there were so many different clones out there, my others came in a box made in Germany but this version says ivogo. Any noticeable differences you guys experience with different clone brands? I have not setup yet but off hand, the font is so light you can hardly read Taifun GT and air hole on deck appears lower .......not sure if it feels cheaper, could just be in my head at this point

I won't say who told me.. but this is what the angelcigs version had 'wrong' with it.. so i decided to just be safe, spend the extra $ and get the hcigar version.

When I got the Taifun from Angelcigs couple things. There is no extra o-rings. The bottom of the chimney was super lose, all the Youtube videos I watched showed that liftaible chimney snug That really had me worried. I decided to go ahead and throw a build in it and test it. Performance wise it works good. The o ring for that chimney is not the right fit, but it does not flood. I have had the thing short a few times from center pin, I have to run it just lightly snuged on my mod, because it's a little touchy

The Angelcigs Taifun works fine, the oring for the bottom of the chimney that slides up and down is kind of lose. I worried about it when I got it. I lubed it up with juice, put a build in and works just fine. After a few tanks full that oring seems to have swelled a little bit.No extra parts with the Angelcigs one, but that Taifun has been on their Happy hour sale for $19.99 and it is worth it for that price. I have a HCIGAR Taifun GT too and it is a little better but it cost me $10.00 more.

Ok so I just got it.. the thing is built beautifully! way nicer than my kayfuns and all the threading is super smooth..

got a question for all you TF owners.. so the chimney seems to be adjustable.. where you can push it down all the way.. or leave it up a little bit - is this to adjust the airflow? and if not, should I keep it all the way pushed down?

Thanks! can't wait to build this thing up at my desk today in work :)

You run your wick and then put the sleeve on laying the wicks in the channels. Then pull up until you feel it want to stop. Hold the sleeve and screw on the chimney top. Also when you take it apart to fill take the cap off and make sure the channels are still aligned with the coil. It has a tendency to turn when you remove the base to fill. The authentic is more snug from what I have heard.

I didn't think EHPro makes a Taifun GT clone. They make a GS. HCigar makes a GT clone.

The cut on the chamber sleeve is smaller for sure on the Ivogo, I did not have to make my wick as thick. I pushed my coil down little more than usual and man the draw is really tight when you hit it, Dunno, no leaks no complaints, still has pretty good flavor using a banana cream.

I'm loving this thing - now that I lowered the wick a little bit towards the airhole and pushed the chimney down a tad - no more leaking from the connector - so everything is perfect with it. Now I just need to get like 5 more lol

I found out over the weekend after a few beers I am super destructive....I took both my new Taifun GT's and pulled the air hole chimney out and plucked out that plastic crap out of the hole....wow did it work out good, the vape is now perfect and not so tight now, day three, no leaks no issues, the extra air is making for a tasty vape

hmm I thought about doing that as well but was afraid of the leaking.. might give it a shot now!

I don't mind the tight draw.. but a little more airflow might not be a bad thing

wow.. i'm a massive idiot.. i was cleaning out the taifun and I dropped the chimney cap down the drain.. fuck me!!!!

so now I'm shit out of luck.. back to my kayfun its looking like!

only place I can find the chimney cap replacements is all UK vendors and they charge 15$ shipping.. so its 25$ just for that piece.. which obviously seems pointless - might as well just buy a new one for 32$ from ebay..

guess I will need to wait until more become available from US vendors. what a shitty start to the night!

So I'm getting annoyed with my Kayfuns..

I was thinking about snagging the Taifun just for the fact that I won't need to drain the tank to refill each time..

Is this a good choice? And if so, what site should I get it from? Looking for USA Vendor

I hear good/bad things about the Fogger/Aqua and heard they can be a PITA to build on..

Looking for similar easy builds like the KF with the same quality vape.

If anyone has any other suggestions - I'm all ears!
you can't go wrong with taifun GT, pull the middle insulator IF YOU WANT A LOOSER DRAW.....flavor on a TAIFUN IS good like tits..

I had a TaifunGT...it drove me mental, to the point where it was launched into a wall. As for Kayfuns...I prefer and love my Lite+ V2s with air adjustment screw removed. As for "sometimes the damn thing gurgles and leaks" issue? Fill it your favourite way, and when it does happen, simply invert it and store it that way for about five minutes. When you turn it back upright, the vacuum is automatically restored

As already mentioned, my only complaint was how you have to almost have a precise diametre of wick in order to prevent flooding...beyond that, it is pretty decent kit from what most have said.

Got it, precise wicking. Thanks. I'm up for the challenge, because it's small enough for a stealth rig but would hold twice as much as my Kayfun Mini.

I don't think I can get to it?? I dunno it's a new house I just moved into - I guess I'll need to check with the guy who owns it to see if he can help get to it

I love my Taifun and I'll always recommend it for the quality of Vapor production and ease of set up.
I got a Kaiser last week, this is also a great atty but a bastard to fill without leaks - it's a quasi clone of the Rose V2 which I've just ordered.

Could you get to it? Usually nothing get's passed the trap, Just sanitize it really well after you recover it.

I am awaiting delivery on a Taifun GS from FS. This will be my first RBA, "gulp"

I have one on the way from a contest that I just won here on VU.

Really looking forward to trying it out.

Anyone know if there are any glass/quartz tank kits available for them?

I have gotten kind of spoiled.

For the Taifun GS? I've been looking with no luck. The way it's put together (threaded plastic tank) we're unlikely to see one. There is an overpriced SS tank @
But that's the price of a new GS. Please let us know if you find anything.

No. from what I've gathered, it's for easier wicking. Keep it down while you're working on your coil, and you pull it up to the notch when you're done. it SHOULD snap in place softly, (at least my Hcigar versions do) the very top piece's chimney won't seal the well if the sleeve around the well is lowered. So unless the sleeve is in its correct position with the top screwed on, liquid will go into the well and into the airway and onto your hands.

I have all the tank systems mentioned above, all of the are authentic and I have clones of each one as well. I have a good job and stopped having to pay $1000 a month in child support (for one kid, she lives with me now),so I have used that money to put into my vaping budget. I hate to even say this after all the money I have spent, but the Nautilus Mini with BVC's almost cannot be beat for flavor and is sure as hell cheaper and way more convenient. I love my vape collection, I mean I really loveeee it. But. if you have not tried the Aspire Mini, give it a try.

Oh she is spoiled alright. She is a Senior this year, has a 4.3 and made a 34 on her ACTs, so I bought her a 2010 Honda Accord. What KILLS me, her mom would never buy her anything when she had custody of her. I had to buy all her cloths, b-day and Christmas presents etc, etc.,. Thank God my current wife is not a money hungry bitch! Well I guess this really doesn't belong in this forum, so I will shut up now!

I purchased the GS for 3 reason's:
It's re-buildable
It performs (at least that's what I have read/been told/etc.etc.)
It fits into (not atop) my "unmodified" VTR

I love my GS, I have mentioned as much elsewhere in this forum. It outperforms all my rebuild-able tank systems, in all categories, hands down!
