What gear got you off cigarettes for good?

Yeah, I quit with a Chuck (one of the two 18650 mods available then) and was a Marineland No. 9 user myself as cartos hadn't come along yet. Those were wacky times. I started with 36mg as well, Dekang at first, then Tasty Vapor, a visionary (of sorts) which started up in 2009.

Kids these day don't know how good they've got it.

When I heard of e-cigs, I did my research, and decided to get a ProVari 2.5, with 3 Kanger Protank 2. After charging the first battery, I started vaping, and quit using analogs the same time. I still had a few analogs left, but after two days, I threw them away.

Yeah, I should have mentioned, it took me seven days to quit a 40+ year smoking habit. Cigarettes start to taste disgusting by comparison.

I was able to quit for about a year with egos and CE clearos but I got frustrated with them and started smoking again mid 2014. September 1st 2015 I bought a Kanger Subox kit and haven't had an analog since. After starting subohm vaping, I got into rebuilding in about a month and now I use RTAs and RDAs pretty much exclusively. My daily driver now is an RX200 and Griffin RTA with 3mg juice. No plans on quitting vaping.

1+ pack a day for 30 years. 3.5 years ago I tried cigalikes from Blu and saw that this could work for me. Rapidly switched to a couple of 900 mah Infernos from Volcano when I saw how many cigalikes I'd have to carry around to make it through the day. Haven't looked back. Went through a lot of iterations since then but now I am using various regulated box mods with the latest generation of RDTA's. I've put all my Atlantis style subtanks aside. Really love my Aromamizer on my Sigelei 100w. Can't wait to get my hands on a Griffin. Vaping has become something of a hobby for me now.
