I'm Rick, been vaping for 18mos. Smoked cigs for 42 years and glad to be done with them. Seem to have found a hobby in tech of vaping. Got a lot of help from the local B&M in my area, talking different mods and battery combo's. Not really a cloud chaser, but its interesting to see what's possible for old wore out lungs. Played with vaping 5 yrs ago but the tech wasn't there to continue, it is now. I've read this forum for a couple of weeks, was looking for an avatar to sign up. Nice to be here, lots of good advice and folks.

Thanks Ace. The trying of different tanks and drippers, coils and bats, is too much fun. Vaping budget is starting to exceed smoking, but what the hell.

Welcome Rick! Nice to meet you. So glad you chose to move in the right direction and joined the vaping revolution, it's a vibrant community that continues to grow by the minute. After decades of smoking, I never imagined being smoke free until I made the decision several years back to stop funding the bastard tobacco corporations that were knowingly killing people for their bottom line. Not a cloud chaser either but many love them and that's cool too. Lots of cool gear on the market to play with.

Thanks Diss. The days of the ego bat and a ce4 are past. The better gear available has made vaping more satisfying and easier to let go of cigs. Plus my local mixer has come up with great favors to keep it interesting.

Absolutely there have been great advancements in the industry. I still LOVE my eGo style VV batteries and they perform great but the ce4's are a thing of the past. I always hated those clearos never got a good vape from them. The Vision Spinners are terrific batteries. I recently got the 1600 mAh and it's a beast. Lasts me the whole day, just plug into the charger overnight and good to go in the morning. I have a lot of gear it's an addiction for sure.

Thanks for the welcome. I got away from ego bats and into 18650 early on, needed the extra time since I'm at work most of my waking hours. Big bats and tanks get me through the day without killing the people I work with. Year and a half without a stinky, body count still zero.
