HIC's PINA COLADA

HIC's Pina Colada recipe: This is a really old recipe and one of my all-time favorites. I have a clone recipe for Halo's Malibu flavor posted around the web - it matches that vendor flavor - but this recipe is a much tastier pina colada! (I figured it's time I post something more mainstream and without 14 ingredients, lol.)

1.5% FA Pineapple
1% FA Coconut
0.5% FA Jamaican Rum
0.5% FA Fresh Cream
0.25% FA Lime Cold-Press
optional 0.5-1% TFA Koolada (for cool effect on the exhale) or FW Extreme Ice (cool inhale, a bit menthol)

Pineapple and Rum make Coconut good and sweet. Fresh Cream makes everything smooth. You can leave out lime if you can't stand lime flavor, but it's a nice contrast to all that sweetness, and I think it makes Pineapple taste extra fresh.

It's good with or without Koolada or menthols, if you like those effects.

This packs plenty of flavor for me as written, but if you like very bold flavor, make it double strength (probably not necessary to double the Koolada, though).

Pina Colada is my favorite vape. I have been using INW pina colada at 5% and loving it but will have to give this a go. Thanks HIC.

This one does sound pretty good to me. I'm right there with you jensy on the Inw Pina Colada @ 7% for me. I need to get FA Jamaican Rum before I can whip up a batch. Thank you HIC for all of your awesome recipes you share with everyone.

I haven't used that one so don't know how it would taste. As for what percent to use here, you'd want about half as much as you'd use standalone.

I dont even know what Pina Colada is suppose to taste like. The last time I had a real Pina Colada, my waist was a 28, my hair was dark and on my shoulders and most people called me "Dude"

Now Im past a 38" waist, My hair is pretty short, and most people call me "Mister" .....

Just mixed it. Its good. I did another batch at exactly double the recipie and its good as well. Ill let the family try it later today and tomorow. Gonna vape it for a while today to check it out.

This is a great one again HIC, mixed and left it to rest for a couple of days, it tastes so natural! And I usually have like 3 times a week a concoction made from pineapple and coconut.
I might try this with INW golden pineapple once it gets here, I would love it a bit more sweeter

You might like adding FA Papaya for extra sweetness. It is outstanding with FA Pineapple! I'd do 0.5 or 1% here.

The family is all home and tried this one out. Smiles on everyones faces......My daughter wants it as an ADV just like it is...... Carol wants it doubled with 1% sweetner.

Ive learned its ok to to make your percentages higher if you like stronger vapes... But Ive also learned: You raise them all equally !! I messed up a few of Hics recipies getting the percentages out of kilter.... Anyway...my two cents.

"If you like Pina Colada", you will like this.

HIC has a Malibu from halo clone on here somewhere. It's pretty tasty Never had the real thing but hell who needs it. Don't have notebook with me but you should be able to track it down.

huh? FW Pina Colada is almost that whole recipe.
But yes, I definitely prefer this FlavourArt version over that (and over Halo's Malibu). FA does a waaaay tangier lime, creamier coconut, smoother cream, and more realistic pineapple juice flavor.

(that's the thing with copying vendor flavors...even if you nail it, that doesn't mean it's the tastiest version you could make, know what I mean?)

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I normally don't drink alcohol, but I do love the pina colada slurpees(I think some people called them icees) that you can get at 7-11. if I mixed this without the rum, do you think it would taste similar to the slurpee?

Oh, of course you leave out Rum! You'd want to raise the remaining flavors by 50%, or maybe double them, for slurpee-like strength.
Or you could replace Rum with FA Papaya (mmmm!) or your favorite strawberry or...

I whipped up a batch of this and ended up doubling it to get a more potent flavor, since I'm a Flavor Chaser.

10ml, 70% VG / 30% PG, 0mg Nicotine.

Nice one! Just made this but had to use tfa pineapple. Very good, nonetheless. I might do less pineapple next time.

As usual, this flavor seems to blend very well with other flavors like HIC's Mellow Vanilla and even Egg Nogg.

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I just mixed up a batch of this today and was enjoying it so much I just had to pop in here and say thanks again for this wonderful vape.

I've been busy with other stuff lately, and haven't been on here much. I've been getting lazy with my mixing these days. Mostly making simple 1 or 2 flavor recipes. Measuring? Bah. I measure the nic, and guess on the rest. I haven't made anything truly amazing, but hey... Even a mediocre vape tastes better than a 'good' cigarette. Speaking of... I'm coming up on 2 years and 2 months without a cigarette on 1/6 !!! Time flies...

Wow rite on I've always liked Pina coladas so why not vape it..I'm new to mixing my own I like to stick with 2-3 flavs high VG FOR MY SUB-OHM TANK

I vaped lots of it (with .5 Koolada) in cheap-o Evods, when I used them. I haven't used plastic in a long time, but I'd assume current models are at least as sturdy as the ones I once used. I know lots of FW Extreme Ice can be a problem for some plastic and the glue used in those tanks, though.

I made this today but had to substitute Whipped cream for the fresh cream and subbed Citrus Mix for Lime. Still good ... vaping it now.

Oh my god it's awesome! I was a little sceptical of coconut since i didn't know if i'd like that flavour in a vape, but it blends perfectly!

I mixed it with +50% flavorings with koolada kept at 0.5%.

I think this is going to be my all night vape this summer!

I'd like to test adding one more fruit flavour like strawberry/peach/apricot, but i'm not sure at what %.

I will try it at the normal percents. FA coconut is good. I don't gave koolada but no big deal. I just hope the pineapple is not over powering.
