Listen to your mouth, disco! lol. A little FA Almond is perfect in it, a great candy bar.

If you make a weak recipe of Swiss Bliss (or just dilute it by about 1/3) and add FA Almond and FA Espresso (or Tiramisu!), you have smooth Swiss Mocha Almond coffee flavor. That's my favorite coffee vape lately.

FA Spearmint is great with Swiss Bliss, better than Peppermint. It adds more creaminess than I expected. I start with a tank of 3% Spearmint then drip in (premixed) Swiss Bliss to chocolate-ize it. It's fine swirly instead of well mixed. A puff of choc, a puff of mint, of puff of swirly choc-mint, it's all good.

With a bottle of Swiss Bliss and another of Grand Marnier (basically, this recipe minus the Custard, and Fresh Cream optional), I'm a very happy vaper.

Yes, I think that is straight out of the bottle at 5%. If you want to go up in half steps and don't want to make a big test batch you might want to dilute it.

Click the link in the original post. That's what I used; it's already diluted to 5%. I know some people buy it full-strength and dilute it themselves, but I don't need that much of the stuff.

My favorite simple addition to Swiss Bliss is FA Torrone (to make a Toblerone Bar)... or 1% FA Almond for a Swiss choc-almond candy bar.
A variation of this recipe is in my Nutella and Ferrero Rocher.
You can find ap in diguise in some of my other recipes with FA Cocoa/Chocolate. (TFA Cheesecake Graham and FA Cookie both contain some ap, so I sometimes get the same effect with them.)

77 responses on a chocolate flavor? Ok, my curiosity is up. Mixing it right now with heartland nic bc I don't have VT. Gonna make it in a tank version, 40/60 and in a drip version 10/90. Im going to take it down to the shop tomorrow and let the hardcores hanging out at the build table have a go at it. The advantage to being the juice guy at my shop is I don't have to personally mess with coils. I'm dying to try this flavor on an octocoil.

Just don't go too high on the power; FA Cocoa tastes horrible if it burns.
Take along a little FA Marzipan or FA Almond to add in, too. Just about any nut flavors make it even better, in my opinion, and tend to please most chocolate fans.

Its all made up, 2 15mls, 40/60 and 10/90. I tell those guys/girls all the time to turn it down or you just burn the flavors to buttered popcorn. I don't have any FA almond or marzipan but will get them. I have Cap hazelnut/peanut butter, FA walnut n probably a few others. I'm working on a hazelnut/caramel and trying to decide which 3 caramels to use to wrap around the strong hazelnut, so this was a nice break bc I'm flummoxed which mix I like better. I guess I will know in a few days after they sit. Anyhow going to let Bliss steep overnight and rest.

Ok here goes. Put this out on the table and the 40/60 had a little more flavor, no surprise there but the 10/90 blew everyone away with the clouds and smoothness. This is a love it or hate it mix. No in between." EW its dark dark chocolate", "not my thing, fruits or candy for me, bad". My response is what is chocolate if its not in the candy family, oh well. Then, "oh gosh, my mouth is coated with melted nestle chocolate chip cookie." Others including a 20 year old curmudgeon juice snob lol said this is really good. Nuts, marshmallows, smores, caramel n coconut were additions recommended if it were going to be modified. The AP is really what makes this flavor pop, no doubt about that. The author pegged that right. If anyone out there is interested in chocolate this is either what you want or it could be the start of some interesting experiments. All in all if you like to vape chocolate this is a 9 or a 10. If you don't like chocolate its a 1 bc this is chocolate.

This will be definitely a bigger batch next time as its so versatile as a base. I do a lot of in tank mixes and using this as a base I can learn how a lot of other flavs. will interact. I've been enjoying a doctored version of this for a few weeks, had to use FW Milk chocolate in place of the FA Chocolate.I found 6% worked for me. My FA chocolate just came in so knew I should try it as written. I love both versions and there is just so much you can do with it as a base, will playing with it for some time.

Update: I cleaned out 2 kayfuns, dry burned and rewicked. Filled one with your version and the other with the 6% Fw in place of the FA Chocolate. I wanted to have the ohms the same on both, but using 1.1 on your version and the doctored version at 1.3 ohms. Using the same wattage on both with an mvp2, so hopefully it will compensate. There is a difference, but so slight. I do not have the taste perception you have, but I think the doctored one may be a touch sweeter, but I think it is something you would need to taste yourself..Both versions are sooo damned good.. Sorry I can't be more definitive on the differences, just don't have the way with words or the taste buds you have. Keep up the good work. A lot of people, including myself have you to thank for our individual successes in the hobby. I especially love the way you describe what each ingredient adds to the mix. It makes our experiments a lot more than random guesses.

FA Cocoa can scorch if you vape it with too much power. Scorched Cocoa is absolutely horrible, so careful there.

Ok, I'm really wanting to try this one, and I'm gonna order the Vaper's Tek nic., but my question is, can I vape this in a sub-ohm Vulcan? I know if you go too low, the chocolate will scorch and give you a really nasty ass taste, so what range would you suggest for a dripper?

Well, I'm sure surprised to read that! Thank you for letting us know. I doubt steeping will have any effect on the scorch point, but do tell us if you find otherwise.

One of the first flavors I tried after beginning to vape last year was Halo's Belgian Cocoa. I love dark chocolate (think 80-90%). I've tried a couple of 'clones' of BC, but they just didn't hit for me like the real thing.

My flavors came in from BCV today and this was the first (of the 30-40) recipe I made. I'm in love.

I will try some of the variations mentioned above but, right now, I'm very happy. Thanks, HIC.

I find that it needs no steeping and is a shake and vape. Of course it's more mixed the next day. This is one chocolate mix that has not "gone bad" after two or three weeks. Chocolates can over steep most of the time in my experience ....... With TFA anyway.

I've sub ohmed this at .4 and .8 with no scorching per say. I do like to change my cotton or rayon after three days of sub ohming this.

This is one of my biggest annoyances regarding sub-ohming. I love chocolate, but I've yet to get a good chocolate flavor at high power. It either burns, or it tastes muted.

Then why not turn down the power and enjoy it tasting right? Like with real chocolate, which is better melted with low heat than an acetylene torch? Not being a major cloud-chaser, I've never understood that. I must be missing out on something great, if it sub-ohming is so enjoyable that it's worth giving up great chocolates. Not trying to sound like a jerk, really! Why can sub-ohmers not have an alternative for flavors that are richer with cheap/simple hardware?

AP might be the missing link I've been looking for with regard to chocolates. Someone told me about it once, but I have since forgot. I do have FA Cocoa, but frankly it does not smell as good as TW (Totally Wicked) Cocao. In real life I am a chocolate hound, and I also enjoyed Halo's Belgian Cocoa. Was the best commercial cocoa/chocolate I've ever tasted.

High power/sub ohm vaping can make things way too intense or change the way some juices taste. I've learned as much from my sub-ohm friends. Too bad really, they are missing out IMO.

For me its mostly Lindt or Ghirardelli, but i'll have no trouble consuming anything else with chocolate in it, no matter who makes. Preference is dark chocolate at about 70 percent cacao, any more and its too bitter to enjoy on its own. Next is milk chocolate, followed by white chocolate.

That's kinda what I do. I keep one RDA built that is ONLY for chocolate and cocoa recipes, and when using it I just dial down the wattage on this box mod. These flavors do well for me at 20ish watts which is still fairly high power.

Think I'm going to mix this recipe since everyone raves on it. Your chocolate recipes are perfect companions to a cup of coffee!

It's not about cloud chasing, as odd as that sounds, and I will be mixing this for my Kayfun. That said, I gave up smoking thanks to vaping, and I find that what produces a sensation that most pleases me, and reminds me of an actual cigarette, is granted only at lower ohms. I'm not saying that this is the case for everyone, but I enjoy vaping around 0.18-0.2 ohms. You can get fantastic flavor down there, and at a far more sustained pace than you can get from a short mouth-to-lung inhale from a RTA or clearomizer, but certain flavors will not work. Flavors such as Tiramisu, Coffee, and Chocolate, tend to become either burnt or washed out while I find that fruit flavors become accentuated. Again, this is all simply my opinion.

I mainly use mechs, but I'm about to get an IPV3 in. I've become increasingly fascinated with tobacco vapes, and, exactly as you've mentioned, they're damned good when sub-ohming. And that's just my experience; Tiramisu was lauded as one of the better FlavouArt flavors, but all I got from it was burnt popcorn. I'm sure this would be different at low power, but I'm not about to step it down past 30 watts, which is about what I'm running my Kayfun at.

If you want my opinion on coffee flavors from FlavourArt, go with Cappuccino. Espresso and Tiramisu remind me greatly of one another, and at high power, they both taste bad. Cappuccino, oddly enough, tastes way closer to coffee. That's just my take on it though, and this is nearing 100 watts.

I like dessert vapes, but I can take them or leave them. Fruity or tobacco vapes are my go-to.
