I have no idea while I'm still crunching popcorn despite having decided quite a few pages ago this seems like a cool mod, albeit one that won't meet my needs. Maybe I should buy one just to try out, then give it to the wife who spends all day every day around 20-22 watts on a Subtank...

Problem is it still doesn't exempt me from the "Whatever you buy, I want one!" vape rule that keeps my wallet somewhat in check given that whatever you guys pay for a mod, I pay double...and I still want a D2, a DNA200 device of some sort, and I don't even know what else yet...

I just watched twisted's review which was more of a first impression. I just want to shed a little light on a couple things. He is right that a owners manual does not come with the unit but it can be downloaded from the website without purchase. I would recommend to anyone to do this if you are thinking about buying one because it may answers any questions you have first. It is a lot of money so take a look first. Twisted didn't notice a difference with the boost because if you have your wattage set to 40 it won't boost. The boost feature will give you a 5 watt increase at the start of your button press for a determined length of time. I've got my wattage set at21.4 at boost level 4. This gives me 26.4 watts for the first 1 second of my draw then drops to my setting. At 35 watts it will boost to 40. Again this device is not going to be for everyone. Download the owners manual and read it before making your decision. I would hate for anyone to buy one and then not be happy with it and for some one not to buy it because of someones first impression who didn't quite understand how to benefit from it. I bought it because I knew exactly what I was getting with the radius and how I like to vape. There are a lot of great products out there so no matter what you get always do your home work .

I would like to welcome all provari users to the 21st century.
Cellphones have touch screens now.
Evolve made a 200W chip.
There's something called TC but most consider it as black magic.
Obama was elected president, no seriously.

Hey I appreciate the welcome. I do also use a Segelei 100 but now that's outdated. I will admit I am technologically challenged. I still use my first smart phone Droid Bionic , I don't own a tablet or laptop. I did own one at one point but gave it to my daughter who knew how to use it.lol. The DNA200 is an amazing chip. I watched all of pbusardo's videos and I still have a DNA 20 custom wood squanker and a couple Evolv Kicks for my mech. I hope as time goes on that there is still a place for this old fart in the vaping community.

I guess I should really take the stalker thing as a sign of flattery, I didn't think I was really that important to people on the interwebs.
Maybe he has a crush on you? I did look up the "Detroit Handshake" he offered you in Urban Dictionary, so I could see that being a possibility.

Seeing one with a Subtank Mini on it, I've got to say that's a nice, compact-looking mod...how is it in hand?

Feels good, did have to turn down the brightness of the screen to the lowest setting though, as found that annoying shining in my eyes when vaping, but that is the only negative so far and could fix that, so no big deal.

My wife's p3 took a shit last week. Now she has to spend hours filling out paper work to have it repaired. She took very good care of it. So much for the sales pitch. "Provari lasts forever" LMFAO !!!!

Yeah ! Have you ever dealt with the bullshit of sending one in ? It's a fucking pain in the ass ! I've already sent in 2 devices.

Mock all you want. That stupid shit doesn't bother me at all.
I have and didn't find it troublesome at all.

Go figure?

@Jimi D
I wouldn't bother, there is no reasoning with a fan boi, no matter what it will be great lol. By the way, good to hear from you my friend. Long time, no see.

It is kind of a pain in the ass, I own 2, 2.5s and a p3, it's the only modder ive bought from where all of there mods go back in for repair. but yeah, that paperwork crap is for the birds. I would; however love to know how they get that 1/2 of 1% failure statistic, in my experience it has been 100% of purchases. 3 out of 3.

So true man. Our V 2.5's lasted much longer than the P3 I bought my wife for Valentine's Day. It's a bit aggravating to go through this again. Thanks dude :)

Second only to the PV-1, the 2.5s will be the most durable and reliable ProVari ever made. I think they became a bit too concerned with battery monitoring and menu functions in the P3 and I see the USB as a weak point in the Radius. As they add more and more un necessary features, reliability is bound to decrease...

I've also seen multiple reports of Radius having charging issues...and I've also heard of a couple that didn't take a table-height fall very well. Not too good of a record so early on in the game!

Add in the fact that every ProVari 2.5 I have owned and most I've seen had the board come loose and cause problems. They are a common, mass produced, electronics device, so are just as susceptible to failure as anything else out there.

Are they junk? No. Are they better than some other devices? Yes. Are they infallible? Never!

I don't have an issue with ProVape as much as I do the fans. Any other device out there, you come into the forums to discuss pros, cons, things you like and things you don't like. Gives someone wandering in some real life experience to make an informed decision. But with ProVape, you discuss 100 things you like about it, but god forbid you mention one negative, and you are instantly labelled as "hater" or "troll", yes you will!

Sorry, I don't drink their KoolAde. I stopped drinking that before I hit puberty.

I did as well. that was a very nice of him to offer; but, I'm perfectly happy with Michelle's version. She's much more my type.
What the Fuck?

I am not a fanboy by any means, I have one provari device, being the radius, and what I have noticed since being involved with the provari threads, yes the provari fans are very protective of provari devices, but the haters are just as bad too though, for example just look above where I posted about getting the radius, and someone jumps in to post am I butt hurt for buying it, really there was need for that sort of comment?

I think both sides can be as bad as each other.

I can see where someone new to the situation would think that; but, keep in mind, hate begets hate.
I know in my case, as an owner, I had no ill will for the brand until certain things transpired with their special little fan club.
For example, look back where I was offered a hand job, my youtube trolled, and my personal and private information disclosed.
-yes provari fans are quite protective, and apparently see no line of demarcation in protecting against anyone who says anything negative about the device at all. Protective yes they are.

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with having disagreeing opinions on things, but when that opinion turns into things like disclosing personal info, and cyberstalking, it's no longer "simple internet fun", it's over the line. Big time.

I've gone into threads for just about every device you can imagine, yes I have, but only in a ProVari thread do I see folks go to every extreme to squash out anybody who finds even a single fault in their products

Thinking about it abstractly, and hindsight being 20/20, it makes me wonder, why?
Is it that the device can't sell itself? Or projections of feeling of inadequacy? Had things not gone to the extent they had, we wouldn't be having this conversation; but, looking back on all of it, I don't remember us being like that with the 2.5, when we were prorapers ourselves. I was greeted just fine by the evolv and mech crowd then, just makes me wonder what it is that causes it. Yes, it makes me wonder what it is.

The same thing that creates the feeling when you drive up to a party with a Corvette and you realize that everyone at the party is driving a Ferrari or a Lambo.. the feeling of buying something more expensive to oust those that cannot afford it.. Its the humanity in all of us gone bad by one thing the allure of Money and power
