While mixing parts for a Singapore Sling,
I suddenly craved this summery thing.
When a gimlet's too sweet,
but a tonic's too dry,
for a summery treat,
give my rickey a try:

HIC's RASP-LIME GIN RICKEY
2% FA Gin
2% FA Lime Cold-Pressed
2% FA Raspberry
0.5% FA Lime Distilled
0.5% FA Citrus Mix

Shake and vape (remember to shake those flavors before mixing).

Gin tames the strength of lime and raspberry, while the fruits take the booziness of Gin down several notches, leaving juniper intact.
Citrus Mix is there for its hint of grapefruit bitterness, perfect finishing touch for this realistic cocktail flavor. It tastes like an adult raspberry limeade.
I'll get back to that Singapore Sling next. I'm not quite ready for summer to be gone!

Interesting. I just got gin and you post this. How amazing is that? I was going to try and create a tequila with gin and inw cactus. That gin smells good.

Just got storm too. At 2% that stuff is amazing. I love it. Gonna mess with it also.

My buddy got snickerdoodled out on the real stuff so he didn't want me to make any up. He has been into this grape pez candy juice. I had him try purple cow and he said not bad. I want more of a candy, what should we put in with grape? I turned on the kindle and looked up your site showing him your purple grapeade. He says, "What, you are going to pay for a recipe?" I said, "Do you want to sit here for 3 weeks and dump half of what we make down the drain or do you want to go home with something good in 5 minutes?" He just wanted to start dumping random flavors in a bottle.. So, click, click and purchased and mixed and he was in heaven. Man it is really good Hic! He said it was way better than what he was buying. I said, "See. I told you!!":D. I only had a few v apes with the higher % option of grape and it was delicious. Thank you. You make this so easy, however I like to piddle around with flavors on my own here and there too.

Hic, going through my flavorings, I purchased tfa citrus punch for one of your recipes and for the life of me, I can't remember which one. I recently move so all my diy has been on back burner. Glad to be back in the saddle though, ordering juice from online is too expensive

By the way, just bought a couple more recipes and noticed you have the app to save them in now. Is there any way to get the old recipes I bought into it, or do I have to rebuy them

Your library should show them all with the latest app: https://help.gumroad.com/11167-Buyer-FAQ/using-gumroad-library#gumroad-library-for-ios ; also see the FAQ at the bottom of that screen. Let me know if your answer isn't there, and definitely do not rebuy anything! (if you need new receipts, PM me the info so you don't have to post personal info here in this thread)

Mango Habanero Margarita. Was looking up Margaritas with black pepper. When I researched how to substitute tequila some were vodka and cactus. Was working cactus with brandy, my bourbon, time to try gin...especially since they suggest a clear liquor such as vodka. I will let you know if I find any greatness.

Mango Chili Margarita
2 parts FA Mango
1 part of all the rest...
INA Cactus, INA chili, FA Gin, FA Lime cold pressed, FA Citrus Mix, FA Lemon Silicy.

Not sure if it's a margarita or not and not sure of ina chili having badies or not, but maybe HiC can perfect this. It's better with gin than brandy or Ky bourbon. But that's what I got for now. Thoughts, HIC?

My first thought is fear of that chili pepper flavor! Is it like it sounds? If you want to really taste Gin, I'd think you'd need more of it or less of Kaktus.

New today at HIC's Mixes : Pumpkin Pie
p Pumpkin Pie.jpg
"Traditional homemade pumpkin pie with rustic, sweet cinnamon-sugar-sprinkled pie crust. This has none of the raw squash flavor you taste in most pumpkin vapes. This easy recipe uses FlavourArt flavorings, plus two by Nature's Flavors: Malt and Pumpkin Pie. Both NF flavor extracts, which contain diketones, are sold at highdesertvapes.com."

--and--

Also new today at HIC's Mixes: Carrot Cake Frappuccino
p Carrot Cake Frappuccino.jpg
"Smooth milkshake blend of rich carrot cake, vanilla frosting and ice cream, with a creamy sweet background of mild java. If Starbucks had a carrot cake frappuccino, it would taste like this. This recipe uses FlavourArt flavorings including Coffee Espresso, plus two by Nature's Flavors: Malt and Carrot Cake. Both NF flavor extracts, which contain diketones, are sold at highdesertvapes.com."

--------------

Notice that the NF flavor extracts for both recipes are all sold at highdesertvapes. That's the only place I can find all together, other than ordering from NF direct. As of right now, highdesertvapes has them all in stock.

The chili is not near as strong as you would think. It reminds me of chili powder. Thanks for the suggestions...I'll mess more later with the ratios.

Is the ginger listed on highdesertvapes.com NF Ginger? The site doesn't identify it as such, and there is no other ginger listed in the NF menu.

If you do indeed want nf ginger just go to mamajs. Even at the nf site I couldn't figure out which one was the right one, or ask wllmc which one he purchases.

I do go there, but now I need more NF flavors because of YOU KNOW WHO. :D

Yeah, because of FlavourArt, and those gaps in their flavor line ...um...that's what you meant, right? hah!

I've bought maybe 40 NF flavors, from a few different sources and lots of separate orders, because I'm so organized that way . Anything FA doesn't have, I'm especially keen to try. Most of those 40 went straight to my (extensive) actual-beverages flavors box after a few quick vapes. They have to taste great and be something I can't do with FA (or no-diketone TFA flavors) before I use them in a vape recipe. NF ginger, malt, pumpkin pie, carrot cake, and wintergreen are in my "frequently used" vape flavors box. Until I tried FA, I liked a couple NF coffees. There are a very few others I'm on the fence about. So, about 5 out of 40 have been real hits for me, which is typical when I try non-FA brands. Of course there are more I still want to try. lol It's sure true in my case that flavor collecting never ends.

Okay, since you mentioned those five NF flavors, the ones I'm looking for, do you know one vendor for all five? Anybody out there know?

Over the past couple years, I've never seen all in one place except through NF direct (large bottles, expensive slow shipping).
highdesertvapes has all those but ginger. mamajsflavorshop has ginger. Both ship way cheaper and faster than NF.
You can sometimes find amazon/ebay and supplement stores that sell the concentrates made with gum acacia, or the oil-soluble ones - those are not vape-hardware friendly.

Good to see I'm not the only one putting a few drops of NF Malt in practically everything these days. Glad I went with the big bottle of this stuff. It's got me playing around with my favorite tobacco blends at the moment, but that Carrot Cake Frap is heading to the top of my to-do list.

Thanks. I won't spin my wheels then, just add highdesertvapes to my go-to list.

This is on my list to do today!!!

I did also order the NF Pumpkin so I have to wait to make that one.

Made peanut butter, Swiss bliss and today I made the toblerone. I have bought one of Hic's recipes but as you can see by my FA's I will be buying more. The Swiss bliss is to die for it makes me feel like knocking up a fluffy sponge and dropping a few ml of the concentrate right in the mix.

Holy Moses! I wish MY bench was that organized!
I have to be the FA's labels are written in Italian and the English part is to small for my eyes to read. The numbers and letters across the top and bottom (can't be seen in picture) corespond to the same on a spreadsheet.
