Hmm, IDK then. I'll give it another go round next coil replacement. But if you happen to get around to doing a screen grab of your dual's I'd be interested to see the difference with your Kf4 power output from device monitor. I know the Uwell Crown pre-build SS coils worked fine and they are dual I just haven't had much luck building a single on the RBA deck for what ever reason. But thanks for all the tips I'm off to the fair for now.
Ahhh I've heard of a lot of trouble with tc builds on rba decks in general.
When I get home tonight and have the computer i'll take a few pics and screen grabs and post them

Still working on tweaking SS, but very good vape at the moment. The SS does jump around, but really not much where I notice the change. The first screen is dual ss 316l 26g spaced on Goliath V2, changes each fill a little due to the nature of device. Second is pre-built dual separate coil on TFV4 Ni. 12

Yea that's kind of what I see but I think my SS jumps even a bit more when I'm using the RBA deck. Didn't really look at it with the pre-build coils that came with it.

NP, I'm pretty sure SS is going to be bouncy across the board due to it's low TCR. I think it would take a device that could read resistance & update the output about 4 times quicker than the DNA 200 does to get it to be smoother and that might consume a lot of battery capacity. I'm just curios how much difference there is between single vs dual coil. Just hard for me to tell since my dual coil prebuilt coils I have no idea what wire they actually used.

If you have a question just ask, myself and a few others own one. I don't have a complaint about the mod or the company. I've had a VS product since the dna30 release and outside of þe well documented 40 problems have nothing but good things to say

Thanks man. Looks to me your getting similar experience with either with your settings if your draws are under 2 seconds. Ramp up time is about half of the vape time with either. I'm usually drawing much longer probably in part why I feel it bouncing.

Point taken. And yes I've tried sifting through the threads and not had much luck finding much on SS wire coils. Knew @f1r3b1rd had good success with it on his 200 so came here to ask.

This is my first VaporShark, and best device owned to date. Had an issue with first but customer service is great. The VS really shines with small form factor and feel in the hand, I would think only reason to look at other options would be larger battery. I figure $20 extra lipo is my best option if needed down the road. I have not really seen any lipo issues with VS, but seen a number on other dna 200 devices. Seems like there are some board issues around but not manufacturer specific. Good group here, just ask if you have any questions.

I have to agree, and honestly the LiPo pack isn't that bad if you aren't running it at like 100+w either... I'm using mine with a Starre tank with Triton 316L coils, and its a wicked smoooooth vape. Smoothest I've had from a device, period. I did manage a RDA build the other night on my Sapor that was really good as well. I think a lot of the issues of 316L (or any TC wire, for that matter) is the RDA and how well the connections can be secured/ built.

On the Sapor, I also didn't prefire the coils, I just juiced them up and went with it. Seemed to behave pretty well, or maybe I just got super lucky. Dunno. Either way, I'm loving that I can use this wire in TL mode, or in regular POWAH!!!! mode and not have to do some magical dance.

I wish I could get some comparison shots of the VS 200 next to a few other mods to see its size. I have a Sig 150 tc and want to try the VS but im on the fence because I just bought the Sig last month.
I also have a Uwell Crown tank coming in the mail tomorrow.

Probably not good reference, VS is very small and light compared to other high watt devices. These are the largest devices I have. Know I have seen a number of similar picture comparisons around.

Left to right

VS200, iJoy, EVic VT

Usually carry VS and the VTC around with me.

Shoot, was holding out for making a custom or Lavabox as secondary device, ecig.Com has hcigar for 126 and had 25% from an order delay on prior order that was not delay. $95 could not pass up, might still do lava box when it releases this week, idk.

Thanks to all who posted pictures of the DNA 200 against other mods. I'm thinking of taking the leap tonight. Can anyone tell me if I'll get a better vape with the DNA 200 vs my Sig 150 tc?

They will vape vary ssimilarin power mode so lets take the actual vape out of the equation for just a second
DNA200
200w
Upgradeable firmware
Can give tcr for any wire with a tcr
Can store 8profiles

Sig150tc
150w
Works with ni200 or titanium

All that said, sigelei is a damn nice mod! But they don't have the added features like you'll get in the DNA. If those features are of no interest, I say save the money and get the sig. If tc is something you want, a DNA board is where it's at right now.

Thanks a ton for the input. I actually already bought the Sig last month and feel kinda ripped to be honest. It's not a cheap mod by any standard, but it doesn't feel high quality either. There's some cracks in the sled and its heavy.
I'm tired of swapping batteries as well. I'm more interested in the DNA's form factor and zip charge capabilities. Also its lighter with that lipo pack.

Keep in mind this is an advanced Device and will require Windows operating system running escribe. You will need to setup your profiles, I have a few generic ones. But will find that they need to be tweaked from time to time. If you want a device that does TC and you can throw on any tank and be off and running this might not be for you. If you want a device you can customize to reach maximum best vape then this could be the one. Only two times ran into scenario where did not have a profile that would work. Personally really enjoy the customization and have found a very even quality that have not had on other devices.

Nothing but positive to say about the VS, tons of additional info on Evolv forums as well.

Im trying so hard not to cave, I'm sick of being that person who keeps looking back every time I make a technological electronic purchase. I swear it's exhausting. I just want to buy one and be done, and then I'm off looking at what this fast-paced industry has to offer. But I digress I'm sure I'll eventually purchase the DNA 200.

Be an informed consumer. Know that with all the pro's of the DNA 200 there are many con's as well. What some consider a feature others consider a failure. Know how you vape and what you need for that vape. If your happy with a Subtank Mini single coil at 25W or in Temp mode at 425F all the extra power isn't really going to matter. The DNA 200 although a few months old still seems to be having a lot of failures. Be prepared to go through an RMA process (I know I won't buy anymore DNA 200 from China). Read the Evolv forums that's where you'll see most of the problems that are being reported. http://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/ Best of luck to you with your decision.

@Vlad1 Big thank you for the write up, it helped sway me to purchase the VS. I'm more or less sold on the zip charge feature & ability to charge
w/o having to take batteries in/out every day (sometimes twice a day.) Also, Its considerably lighter than what I'm using right now and I don't know if it's just me or the fact that I chain vape that causes me to not want such a heavy device. Don't get me wrong, the Sig is nice but it doesn't feel like an all day vape device for me and from the form factor of the VS it looks much easier to carry around.
I just need to figure out where I can purchase one now, for some reason the VS website won't allow an add to cart.

Did you change the default Qty: 0 to 1? It lets me add to cart fine, maybe try clearing your cache, or another browser / pc will work or maybe they were doing maintenance or having problems with the site when you were trying.

I did it right last night, it was their website. I was able to add to cart today.
I have no idea what was wrong last night.
It wouldn't let me add the DNA 200 for squat last night. Tried several devices, nada. Thank you Vlad for the help

@Vlad1 Well I pulled the trigger today, Got the DNA 200, an extra battery and a VS skin. Can't wait to try it out.
Thank you again everyone for helping! Any suggestions before I get it? I seen Rips suggestion about setting the Ramp-up to 100, has anyone else done this?

Congrats, best of luck, You'll want to set the preheat how you like it depending on the coil you have and your juice and your personal preference. Some like it cool some hot so you'll want to adjust to your taste.

I'm seriously thinking about pulling the trigger. Does anyone have any feedback on this mod. I liked the look of the Hcigar Vt200 (iirc). Seems like this is a best bang for the buck, but it's not a bargain if it sucks.

Cheers,
Steve
Great mod, well built. They used all the proper connectors and wires. Very clean inside with no glue. Best part is they made it super easy to change the batteries. They will be offering spare batteries for $20. 4 allen screws and simply unplug. VapeNW is selling the mod for $160

ok can someone give me the short hand version of this

1.Is the lipo easy to pull and replace? or does t require tools (even a screwdriver)
2. where do yo buy extra batteries and charger and approximate pricing?
3. will there ever been any other colors?
4. how durable is the basic finish and what does t he extra 30 actually get you? Does tis $30 give you extra protection form scratches or dropping or what??

The battery can be changed without tools. Back panel is on with a magnet and the connectors just pop off.(ive not changed it only took it out and back in to see)
Vqporshark and evolve both sell the batteries (20-25$)
Rc shops will carry the charger
No other color
The finish is very durable (no scratches yet-its even survived twisted 420)
The coating is a vaporized silica thing to cover and coat the mod from liquid damage including the inside, the 30 and 50 had a seam on top that people freaked about so they came out with this. its similar to what Samsung does to the galaxy 's' series

Well, ive had mine since the first shipments went out, nothing bad to say about it at all. Never even change a battery, when it gets to 50% I pop it on a charger for 30minutes and its topped off.
Ive had all but one of the vaporshark mod's and the only issues ive had have been with the dna4 board.
My first run dna30s are still in service,

That said, changing the the lipo on the fly is not like changing an 18650; but if that's something someone wanted to do it can can certainly be done. I found it easier to get a backup battery with a 2a charger and use that.

Now that is funny, the last mod!!!

Of course it won't be the last. We all have MAS (mod acquisition syndrome ). An incurable disease.
Omg, I didn't catch that, hahahaha

I said NEED not want
big difference

if they could truly just upgrade software to do anything new that comes along, then it actually could be the last one I NEED

I might WANT another one, but if there no new features that the dna200 cant handle and the vs still works then I wouldnt NEED another

Heads Up... several reports on ECF right now consumers are seeing fraudulent charges on their credit cards after their Vapor Shark purchase. You might want to keep an eye on your CC activity just to be on the safe side if you used credit card to make your purchases.

anyone have any experience with Titanium on the dna200? I have 2 different tanks with twisted 28g titanium , dual coil. comes out to .10 ohms. I set the tcr to .00365, 35w, 420 degrees, 200 preheat power, punch is at 7. It hardly fires either one. Its like its barely getting 5 watts. I put either of these tanks on my xcube2, sxmini m or evic vt and its more than I can handle. Whats going on?
