That tank can be quite good with the right coils. Splurge a little and get a set of CLR-TI coils for $13. They're nice right out of the package and easy as pie to rebuild...
Thank you, good to know. I will try it with the one that came in it. Still not really interested in temp control, but told the hubby I am going to try it with the titanium coil just to be able to say I've done it. Not comfortable at all with nickle, so if I'm going to do it, will be the ti coils. I've heard it's a cooler vape, and I do like my warm vape, but you never know. I'll give it as fair a chance as I can with my preconceived notions ;)

I might end up liking the tank and getting some of the regular kanthal coils even, one never knows :)

I know I dont chat much in here but I do come in to try and keep up with the thread. I dont know why but its only this thread that does it but it takes me to the last post no matter what I do. I always have to try and remember where I left off and back track to read the thread. So if someone says something to me and I miss it I apologize. Oh and Good Morning everyone :)

I love it definitely a favorite yes!!!! It has so much power, more than I'm used to so I'm wanting to pair with the smok... My Atlantis can't keep up lmbo.

So, I have the smok tfv4 tank. I've only used the quad coil so far. It took me a little bit to get the hang of it. It's a lower build than I'm accustomed to. It's a .15 ohm vertical quad coil. I run it at 85 watts. The flavor is awesome, and it has decent vapor production. The downside for me is that it guzzles juice. I was able to go about a day and half with my subtank mini, but the 5 ml tank in my smok barely lasts a day.

I do hear that a lot. Did you get the rebuildable deck with it cuz I hear the coils are a bit pricey

Yeah. Mine came with 1 triple coil, 1 quad coil, the rba section, spare glass, 2 vape bands, o rings, screw driver, cotton, and spare screws.

I haven't tried building on the rba yet. It came with with a coil pre-installed. I've only built on my subtanks and rdas before, and the design of this rba is different from those. The post holes are down on the sides of the base. Once the movers get finished packing up my stuff I can take some pictures of it if you want.

Pretty hectic right now. The house is getting packed up today, and the moving truck comes Monday to pick everything up. Hopefully after that things will calm down.

I've already got the Sig 100W+ and the Sig 150TC and love both of those. I have become a Sigelei fanboy for sure, so I know the 75w would be awesome. I have checked out the TFV4 and shot a video for it. I love that thing. The video is only on The Vapor's Edge facebook page, but feel free to check it out.

While we are on the subject, any opinions on settings to start with? I have no idea. Was thinking 40w and 400 degrees? Or should I just do straight to 60w with 400 degrees? I've read a little on it, and don't really get it :(

What mod are you using with it? And I'm assuming you are using the nickel coils now? Are you locking it at room temp when you install?

Honestly, it's best just to play around and find what suits you. I have all my TC mods set to 30 watts (slightly slower ramp - except the iStick TC40W which is locked at 40) and 460-500 degrees.

Iam using the evic-vtc mini setup with ti coil it came with also tried the ni coil it came with and I have locked both in a room temp when I installed. ..I wish I could figure out the problem I contacted joytech and now vapor dna and iam exchanging it because even with my elite 2 tc tank it does the same thing

The problem is the coils... The have tiny wick holes and wick slowly. They're going into temp protection after 2 seconds because all of the e-liquid has already been used. That's where the CLR heads come in to play. They have much larger wick holes - adjustable, too - and, well...

So does the clr heads take care of the issue or not iam confused because protection is coming on quite quickly in the video but you are getting a good amount of vapor

Protection comes on, but backs off. it backs off even more when there is air passing over the coils... I think CLR heads save the day!

Only way around that is using 50/50 juice or the most 60vg 40pg so the wicking can keep up and it won't hit temp to fast. Or just set your temp around 550. Max vg like above 500° anyways
