ebay is the best source I know - best to search 'tasty puff' and look for the ones with a drop-down list of flavors available. If they use 'rasta root beer' in their title listing, it sells out really, really fast.
Yes eBay is the place... $10 shipped for 30ml spray bottle..... Rasta Rootbeer is the shiznit.

All the time, and not just when vaping. Wintergreen is a flavor that really gets around in American products. http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-pink-bubble-gum.18233/ I think anyone who tastes a real food/beverage and starts noticing the flavor components like that probably has a hidden talent for figuring out flavor combos for vapes. ;)
Yes, I know what you mean about taste. I am blessed? with great taste buds... I was a Chef in an earlier life.
I "pair" a lot, no wine though, I hate wine.
When I was buying juice, I always tried to figure out what was in it (not knowing how complicated the good ones are, lol) i have regained my tastebuds since vaping for 20 months, and added 50 pounds, lol.

I totally zoned out on root beer, though. I really had no idea it was in there, I taste the vanilla and Caramel, spices in it, never the Wintergreen. Weird. Now it really is all I can taste, have to figure out how to rewire that!

(Edit: I forgot to say that I had read that thread about bubble gum, that is how I learned about the Wintergreen)

Thanks again!

On a whim since I was running low on both, I decided to mix 2 parts lemon creme cookie with one part blueberry coconut smoothie and wow that's a tasty vape! Like a buttery shortbread cookie with blueberry jam filling. Liked it so much I made more of each just to mix it again and play around with percentages. I'm having so much fun with these recipes lol!

I saw one in the Harware section of the Trading Post up for grabs. She wrote a bit about it. Practically brand new.

Me too. But I can never catch up-lol. So many good things to mix. Finally have all my FA FLAVORS and most of the premixed stuff from MAMA'Js. Enough of everything to keep me busy. Scrappy when you say 2 parts and 1 part what % would that be? This is where I get stumped.

It' a rough estimate. They were each already mixed in the bottles and running low on each I just dumped the remaining blueberry coconut smoothie into my bottle of lemon creme cookie, gave a shake and vaped. There was about twice as much lemon creme cookie as blueberry coconut smoothie so that's where my #'s came from. Next batch I'll try 50/50 and go from there, adjusting to taste. Sorry wish I could be more help.

Just did a 50/50 mix and the blueberry dominated, so I think a 2/1 or 3/1 ratio is probably best. I only made each batch last night though so I'll let them each sit for a few days, then I might have a better idea.

Cool, my first Flavour Art exam from Professor HIC. I already have a competent fig bar recipe in beta testing phase, let's see how I'm doing! I already know I haven't been using Torrone, and I realized as soon as I saw it up there that I should have been. Been using dabs of Sicily for the citrus zest notes. Works well fresh but small amounts vanish literally overnight in the presence of FA's bakery flavors.

Got my NF Malt standing by! My sniffer tells me the diketones in this could give FW's line a run for their money. Smells awesome, though!

NF Carrot Cake chilling in the fridge too. Performed the obligatory fingertip taste test, but I can barely make out what's hiding behind the alcohol. Hints of a sweet, spicy carrot in there. Hurry up HIC, or I'm gonna start on that one without you. ;)

Aha, I've been using 4 of those flavors in my own recipe, give or take .5% on a couple.

Had been tweaking it with TFA Brown Sugar to try and coax a more ripe flavor from FA's fresh variety, but your way sounds far more intriguing! Plus I have lots of Malt to use. :D

Yes, imo it's best to assume all NF flavors contain diketones. Their flavor extracts do contain ethyl alcohol. With the amounts I use, the alcohol quickly dissipates. Diketones don't, of course!

New today at HIC's Mixes : Fig Bars
View attachment 29328
"Sweet fig preserves with a touch of orange and a double layer of tender pastry. Notes include tips regarding use of NF Malt in bakery vapes. This recipe requires FlavourArt flavorings, including Torrone, plus Nature's Flavors Malt (contains diketones)."
Over the weekend I was holding my bottle of FA Fig in my hand, thinking... "I need to do something with this, I love this flavor!". So Self, never mind :D

Fresh Fig was in my very first (official) mass FA order. My grandmother had a fig tree, she used to make preserves and all kinds of treats with them. It's such a versatile fruit, comfortably at home in both sweet and savory dishes. I learned to appreciate the fig at a very young age!

Course, right next to the fig tree was the one from which she used to make me bring switches to stripe my ass when I did something bad, so the memories are very much bittersweet. :p

I'd like to give a BUMP mention to one of HIC's older recipes that I now have in my ADV rotation.
Linzertorte Cookies are just so tasty... A creamy nutty raspberry delight!!!

I have found that the Raspberry does fade some if steeped too long (made a 120...lol, i'll keep them to 60ml or less) but you can always add few more drops when ready to use.

Over the past several months I've built a solid collection of FA flavors. I recently downloaded several of HIC's recipes and it turns out I had ALL of the flavors in stock! I was shocked. Now I look at this one and things are back to normal - there's always 1 more flavor I need. I don't have NF Malt and Mama J's is out of stock. ROFLMAO.

Once it's in stock I'm also getting the Irish Malt Ice Cream recipe. Irish Cream is yummy. Then again, so are the fruits, custards, and bakery which may explain why my collection keeps growing.
Luckily FA has a finite number of flavors
Thanks to this forum, at this point I think I have every FA flavor that isn't tobacco....

If you know someone who paid nearly $1/ml for that, link them (right here: https://gumroad.com/l/NmGqf# ) so they can DIY much cheaper. $80 per 120ml, sheesh. I won't assume they used my recipe, though. (And if not, I would assume mine's better. :p )
I'm working on my third 30ml bottle.....nah, no good.....;):D

New today at HIC's Mixes : Almond Windmills
p Almond Windmills 200.jpg
"American know these sweet-spiced brown-sugar-almond treats as windmill cookies. Others call them almond spekulatias or almond speculoos. This recipe uses just 7 flavorings (and no diketones) to give you the classic flavor of a popular German brand. This recipe requires FlavourArt flavorings, including Clove, plus Brown Sugar and Holiday Spice from The Flavor Apprentice."

(tastes like Coppenrath Mandel Spekulatias, a German cookie Americans can often find at World Market ;-)

Wow. I never got back to comment on my purchases. What I love most are your notes which are so well written telling us how the flavors interact with one another. I'm such a fan of your notes. Not only do people get a great recipe, but they also gain a lot of knowledge to be able to create better recipes knowing how those flavors interact. I honestly believe even if someone doesn't care for a recipe that the notes alone are so worth purchasing it. You just can't loose.

HIC's Lemon Pudding Cake is absolutely divine. Teresa was right in saying she wanted to lick her fingers. The way you got a lemon glaze to come through is absolutely amazing.

HIC's Thai Mango Sticky Rice. Well I love Mango and was shocked how it shone through at such a small %. I did add the extra drop though, but still. The flavors you used to create the sticky rice...very authentic. To my pallet the vape was a little too sweet. Wondering if I could cut the sweet sauce in half or out w/o it affecting the rice part, haven't tried that.

I have been working on and off trying to create a fig bar with Caddisfly. So I bought the Apple crisp granola hoping notes might help for a grain type bar. Nicely done by the way. I did get closer to the Newton part with your notes. Low and behold, what do I see in HIC's store? Fig bars. I will not buy them, I will not. I can figure this out, I can, I think I can. Then I read "notes on how NF malt can work in bakery included." Click and click. Recipe purchased. I just couldn't help myself. Have yet to mix it up and I must say that it never occurred to me to use some of those flavors.

I want to say a big heartfelt thank you to you, HIC. You are truly a beautiful person and I think you would help out anyone. Having your recipes for sale is such a benefit to so many for a number of reasons.

Oh yeah, I've been a mixing with black pepper too. Love it! A fabulous addition to the spice rack!!

D, you're a real gem for all your detailed feedback. I know it helps others decide which they want to try, so thank you!

A few notes back to you. That lemon glaze? Lemon Sicily gets all the credit. That's such a great flavoring. Less sweet Mango Sticky rice: if the 4th paragraph of the notes on that recipe doesn't lead you in the right direction, PM me and we'll figure it out. You can also use less VG in your nic base (true of all recipes), if that's an option for you. I hope you like Fig Bars, and I get a big grin to know you're a Black Pepper fan. Few will try it, but those of us who try all seem to like it. I need Saffron now... lol

The Atty3 is also a good one, as well as the Tobeco Turbo v2, got both of those and really like the deep wells. And I'm completely hooked on the Tobeco Super Tank RDA I just got. ;)
I just got a Tobeco Super Tank RDA, how in blazes does it come apart? I have looked for videos on YouTube, no luck...
Help!

Very carefully!! Mine was virtually welded together too, had to use a rubber jar opener on each end and gently twist and pull. It's easier after the first time though.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking, reducing those 2, didn't think it would change the rice part other than the sweetened part. I'll try it w/o as well as reduced 50% and let you know my thoughts on it. And I do mix 50/50. I tried one recipe at 100% vg. and all I can say is holy sweet rush, but that is me.

I can't wait to try the fig bar. I have 2 cartons here. 1 is regular and one is triple berry. And holy cow that triple berry one is the bomb. I got the whole grain version, so it's a little healthy:D

As far as helping people choose, I say go with things along the line you like to vape. However I understand what you mean. Some recipes, such as your quickberry pink, sweet watermelon juice, and rabbit cereal I actually purchased to make for friends, just wouldn't have done it for myself. However I did vape them and enjoy every now and then. I'll have to re mix and taste.

Your sweet watermelon juice I mix up flavoring in 30ml. Bottles and ship to my nephew in Michigan. I bought him vg. and mixed him a bunch of flavor bottles so he only has to add 1 thing to vg. and his friends are all jealous of his awesome Aunt.:D:D. Your Watermelon juice is his favorite. I think he described the taste of a watermelon sweet and sour gummy bear. I'll ask him.

You guys aren't helping ;) I'm trying to plan my next mix fest and everything sounds so good! These recipes made it to the short list for this round. I won't do them all, but the contenders are:

- Mango Sticky Rice
- Baklava
- Prickly Peach
- Gooey Coconut Cookies (or Linzertorte or Peppermint Buttercrunch or whatever cookie fits my mood)
- Old-Fashioned Doughnut (Lemon Pudding Cake was a runner up)
- Vanilla Silk Pudding
- Black Pepper Ice Cream
- Sweet Watermelon Juice
- Corpse Reviver (woot! I have all the flavors!)
- Ginger Beer Ninja (I loved AiV Ginger by the Sea, this isn't the same but may fill the spot)

I have plenty to keep me busy while I wait for NF Malt to do the Irish Cream, Fig and Strawberry recipes. :p
Enjoying Blueberry Cider as I type this.

Yum - gooey coconut cookies, I make those 8 ounces at a time LOL

That tobeco super tank never got any easier for me to take apart! Takes two sets of rubber coated pliers to open:(
