Got a few of their flavors on sale in june. Holy vanilla is super yummy best straight vanilla flavor. Dulce de leche is creamy and caramelly. The site says they have the flavors made for them and they contain no diacetyl but they have flavors like butter which make me nervous but I'd love it if it were true. I have emailed them about food coloring as some i have gotten, I'm looking at you green bottle of creme de menthe, that look like they have color and Dawn, the owner, said they don't add any but the manufacturer might...another flag as to not knowing what's in your product...I'm torn on being in live and staying away and just wanted to see if anyone else had tried these flavors or how they felt

DIYFS Pound Cake is outstanding. It may have some of the bad stuff in it but if a recipe needs some, I'm using it. I won't make it an all day vape though. I kind of avoid colorings, they don't add a darn thing to the taste anyway.

I have ordered some pomegranate, nutty 555 tobacco,Mt Dew and I got a small sample of strawberry. I have only tried the strawberry and I liked it. With all the concerns about what additives are in flavorings I have decided to keep my DIY juice simple. I will use mostly fruit and tobacco flavors and avoid anything creamy or buttery or custard. Just my way. Also follow these threads about additives closely

I understand your concern as it is always important to know what you are putting into your body. If you ever wonder if a flavoring contains a specific chemical you are always welcome to shoot us an email and ask. We try to be as transparent as we can be :)

You are correct that we do partner with a company who manufactures our flavoring and are open about any chemicals that may be exist and like to note this in the description, however, we are adamant about making sure we know what is in our flavoring and if we can't find out....well...we don't use it anymore :)

I hope this helps ease your nerves a bit :)

( VERY Important ! )

Yes, I believe you have been in every instance I've seen or inquired about personally !

Just wanted to see if anyone else had tried these flavors or how they felt

I have tried a handful.... and need to try more as the ones I have sampled are Great Stuff !
IMHO DIY Flavor Shacks Concentrates can compete with any others out there.
The ones I've tried are pretty concentrated, cost effective, well packaged, speedy shipping, AND Very TASTY !!!
Now throw in the Great Customer Service and you got a Winner !

DIY Flavor Shack.... Dunno why they dont get more recognition..... But Great People and Service just the same.
Kinda like the Modest Bed and Breakfast that you would return to again and again, vs the Hilton.

Anywyas..........

What are the general percentages for there flavoring? I am hoping it is FA like at about 1 or 2% because you only get 3.7ml for $2.45 which is pricey compared to other flavor makers. I wouldn't mind trying them out but if the recommended percentages are in the 10% range then it is too pricey for me.

Just found the answer to my own question under the EXPERT CARAMEL DIY FLAVORING description:

This is very concentrated and made for DIYFlavorShack - you will use 5% - 10% for a great tasting mix instead of 15-25% like the other flavors.

I ordered from DIYFS about a month ago. The order was super fast and packaged really well with a free sample of jag juice. I made an order of about 12 flavs all 3.7 ml but unfortunately all but two of the flavs were vapeable. I first mixed the cream soda (at 18%) and instantly seen it was a lot thinner than my experience with tfa. So I mixed in some vanilla bean ice cream (at 15%) straight vg. I did a quick shake and vape and the taste was off big time . The best way I could describe it is like my wick was dirty but also the flash point seemed off. So tried a hot bath and a rewick still a no go. Figured a steep was in order but even after 3 weeks still the same. This was the same for all flavs but jag juice and ecstasy. Idk why this was maybe my order was the first they put in for the day and separated and with such tiny bottles made a huge impact but now there in my oil warmer and my house smells great. lol

Personally, I have never used their flavorings at that high percentage. Too much will not yield pleasant results. I don't go over 5-6% to start with a standalone, 2% in a mix. These are pretty strong flavors, some quite comparable to FlavourArt, and too much will defeat your purpose. I've thoroughly enjoyed all their flavors that I have tried, but always started low and worked up to taste.

I agree Teresa.....
But just like everything else.... mileage may vary considering the subjective nature of eLiquid. ( Much like food recipes ! )
Some will love it..... some will hate it...... but most fall somewhere in-between.

I was cured of my "over saturation of concentrate" early in my DIY ventures.
My first order was TFA ... Blue Berry Extra, Ry4 dble., Coconut Extra, and a few other fruit flavors.
My Very 1st attempt was Blue Berry @ 5%.... Very Weak ! ( Add More ! )
Rinse and repeat a few times until I was up to 18% concentrate, but it hit a ceiling somewhere along the way and Never got much stronger than 3 adds ago.... so I settled on 15%.

Next up.....
Coconut Extra !
Well Blue Berry Extra needed alot, so started the Coconut Extra @ 15%.
It honestly was the NASTIEST, most unpleasant thing I EVER vaped !!!!!!
It took 6 months before I could work up the courage to do something with it..... just the thought made my eyes water !
Started using the 15% mix as a concentrate and realized the nasty chemical hit I was getting had vanished, I could just barely taste in in my recipes.... just the way I wanted it to be !
Still havent finished the original little bottle I bought, as now I dilute it 9mls pg / 1ml Coconut Extra and I can finally use and measure it with confidence.
:)

Every Flavor has its Sweet Spot........ Some are more forgiving than others and will gradually change as you up percentages, and can be used in a broad range of concentrate.
Others not so much...... and can get nasty by just adding 1% or less.
I have some tobacco flavors that most consider Strong/Dark Tobacco and really not cared for by many.
But @ TINY percentages I get all kinds of nuances that I never noticed when it was @ 1% and over powering !

All just MHO................
