So I've been pretty much stuck on my kanger subtank mini's with the RBA head, and they been working great and avoided trying every new subtank that comes out, but fancy trying something new.

I did win the aspire triton tank and bought the RTA head with it and not been that impressed with it.

So being tempted by either the uwell crown or the new smok TFV4, but I don't want to be tied to buying coils, so these 2 suits me as both can get RBA head for them, I am more tempted by the smok, as is cheaper if buy with the RBA head, where the crown you have to buy it separate.

I know the smok it still very new, but anyone tried either the crown RBA or smok RBA and share their thoughts on them.

Also most important, I don't want leaking, never had a problem with the subtank mini's, so don't want to change to another tank that leaks.

The crown is great flavor is great good air flow coils last forever I haven't used the rda head yet but the coils do not leak at all air flow open fill it right up I understand the smok has to be used 75 watt and up

Smok tfv4, I have it and love it. Great pre-built heads awesome rba. Easiest top fill in the market. Insane flavor and clouds and it's easy as hell to build just buy it

Heck I was eyeballing the TFV4 and guess what I ordered it. I went on the SMOKTECH official site and let me tell you with all the coils n RBAS coming out for this tank I think it will be my last tank. I heard from people and watched a small video description on YouTube about and ordered it that's it. DONT THINK TOO MUCH!! Just know what you want and do it!!!!

I have them both. They're both great tanks and you can't go wrong either way. Just know the TFV4 eats the juice like no other tank I've owned and I've owned quite a few. I'd have to give a slight edge for flavor and vapor production to the TFV4 but only a slight edge.

Well the only people I've seen post using the TVF4 RBA on the web, have said they have leaking problems with it, and then priced the uwell crown and to buy the RBA head as well would be $50, so I went with a $20 Lemo V2 instead :)

I have both as well. While I agree that the TFV4 is a juice sucking demon cloud machine with the Tri coils especially and doesn't give any real flavor for me till 85w the Uwell has me blown away bro. I buy everything I can get my hands on and the Crown has really impressed me. The kit I snagged had 3 .25 heads which I was pleasantly surprised about. Figured they'd throw in one of those bullshit .5 coils but they didn't. The Smok is an awesome tank no doubt, but the flavor for me with the same juices at even lower watts (70-75w) on the Crown is not really a comparison. I haven't used my TFV4 much since I got the Crown and I was seriously impressed with the Smok at first. I've got the dual RBA for the Smok but haven't used it yet cause I got the Crown at the same time so I can't speak to leakage but I'll mess with it and see.

Both tanks coils are higher than a giraffes ass in price imo and the Crown RBA @ $17+ is just stupid. But they are both high wattage new release products so I guess it's to be expected. I think Smok released the single kit to just drive up coil prices but who knows.

Again I don't want to deter anyone's opinions about the TFV4. It's def badass. The Crown just has me sold out on it for the time being. I'm waiting on a shipment of Quad coils for the Smok so I may pick it up again and spend more time with it but for now I'm pretty sold on the Uwell.

YMMV of course.

I am quite surprised that there isn't more talk of the crown onthis forum. I have heard more than one decent reviewer say that there favorite subohm tank was the freemax till they tried the crown. Being as I have been using the maganus(starre) since it came out and love it I figured I couldn't go wrong getting a crown. Ordered one and it is now sitting at the post office waiting for my wife to pick it up and deliver it to me at the lake. I am really looking forward to getting it but I got a zephyrus last week and am enjoying it emensely so it makes it easier to wait. I like a shit ton of air flow and great flavor and that is a hard combination to fill. Been looking at the TFV4 and it looks good but just how many batteries a guy can carry with him has me holding back.

Well the wife showed up about 3 hours ago with my crown. Was just gonna open it up to check the build quality and for damages. So anyway I'm just about finished my second tank.LOL Man this tank was definately made with me in mind. It's the only tank I own that I don't have to have the AFC all the way open to suit me. Got the .25 in it and am impressed. looking forward to trying the ni200 coil that came with it but not till this one is done.Sounds like that may be awhile. Sounds good to me !!!

Sometime this week I'm getting mine so will see......

The tfv4 will be my last tank I buy. It is hands down the best tank on the market. I've been building rba's for two years and this smok tank hits as hard as any of the tanks I build using 20 Guage kanthal. He clouds are huge and flavor is almost to much. Some of my favorite juices I don't even use anymore because this tank is so intense that it just don't taste the same with this tank. I know have new flavors that have become my favorite cause you get to experience everything the flavor profile says. You will find the milder premiums are so much better then you are used to. Tfv4 hits like a train! It is the most versatile tank on the market. I live in Las Vegas and spend a lot of time in the casinos and clubs. I blow bombs in a casino and am constantly approached with tons of curious people of wtf is that abnoxious tank. I'm using a sigelei 150tc with smoktech tfv4 and I've finally think I've come to the end of the road. I have to look no further. I can imagine what could possibly be any improvement over this tank. Never leaks and always is a conversational piece of perfection. I hear a lot of people saying it's more like a novelty, but I totally disagree. If you like to blow bombs with little effort this tank is for you. Also if you just want full flavor without blowing ridiculous clouds that will fill a casino like the MGM with 3 lung punches you can just lower wattage and restrict airflow and enjoy casual vapes. I will never look back and am 150% satisfied. Nothing but haters when I break out the big dog of tanks. Trust me I've spent thousands of dollars on mods, tanks, and juices. The thought of this tank and gets me out of of bed in the morning. Kid Vape Vegas

I am enjoying mine also.It is a great tank. However I find that I have to close down the airflow more than I want to to get the flavor I want.Or crank up the wattage. It is a bit of a balancing act between flavor, temp and airflow. I find myself using my Zephrus more than the crown but wouldn't consider one better than the other.

well after using mine for few days now I can freely say that this will be my go tank for a while. Why?
All of the advantages that come with the TFV4 system are amazing so far. This tank is a BEAST in many ways you try it out, Cloud maker, Taste provider The RBA deck's are just Enormous, both single and double. You can run max VG all day long with no dry hit. Yes it's juice guzzler but may I ask IF I'M DRIVING MUSCLE CAR WILL I BE LOOKING ON THE GAS ECONOMY OR THE PERFORMANCE???? great top fill access. And also before I forget if you don't have device with a lot of power you're not doing any justice on this tank because bellow 72 watt on the tricoil or 82 watt on the quad you don't have nothing but scratching the surface of the potential, I took the quad to 150 watt and ohhh just the density of that vapor is insane. With all the rest of coil setup's they are coming out this is all around system that cowers one's needs even for indoor or outdoor vaping. Great job SMOKTECH claping hands!!!! That is my opinion about this system.... Keep Vaping On....

I don't have the tfv4 but I just got the crown and that by far is my favorite tank. Top and bottom fills. I run mine around 90 watts on the stock coil and a smy 260 watt box. I have kanger sub ohm mini's, a 454 big block rda, lemo 2, Hercules.

Yeah I really have to applaud smoktech on the tfv4. I'm in love with mine. Been using it on a sigelei 150 tc running at about 130w and even though the vape can get warm, with both air flows wide open, is producing amazing flavor and vapor. Haven't gotten to the quad coil or the rba yet but I've heard the quad is even better than the triple running at around 80-90w.

I have both the Crown and the Smok TFV4 I use both and will say this it's a win win situation, both excellent The Crown is smaller yet holds about the same or if not the same or more juice and can handle 110 watts. The Smok is a like a big thirsty V8 yet the tip is nothing I can describe, it has cool air come in along with the hot vapor and is very interesting and like it because if you're pushing 140 watts it's great for cooling. I feel the build quality on the crown though will outlast the Smok. But overall you can't lose.

Can anyone recommend a nice sleek box that will work for either of these, or at least post up pics of their setups. Im interested in getting a Crown or a TFV4 but at the moment, the need a good(better) power plant

Just throwing the zephyrus out there.
The tfv4, have you held the pre-built coils?! I'm scared what a 5 pack will cost.

Might stop in the shops, see what the Crown looks like on my Evic, seem like it should be enough for now.

Anyone having issues with spitting on the tfv4? I'm using the 4coil head and I'm getting constant spitting. My old mod took a crap and well tfv4 was filled. Can the coil be over saturated?

Honestly, IMO you can't go wrong with either of these tanks. They both have great flavor, great cloud production and have LOTS of different coil options(slight edge to TFV4 in coil options). I have both and love em both. I'm also going to be getting both in black when they're out...which should be soon! WooHoo.

But again, you can't go wrong either way.

What's the verdict? How do you like the T-VCT? I was trying to decide between that one and the Crown.

Only had it a few days, but so far I am very happy with it, not only does it look damn cool, but it actually works really well too, only used the 0.50ohm coil for a day in it, but it worked really well, then I swapped to the RBA head and that also has worked great, no leaking at all from anywhere and top fill is easy, already thinking of getting another one.

I have the tfv4 and was very pleased with it until.... I woke up next morning e juice all over my Sigelei. It had leaked juice from the afc holes. Took it all apart checked o rings and filled it up halfway to see if it was because I filled it up above the atomizer and same problem. I am now going to trade it for a Crown because I hear there are absolutely no leak issues and the coils last a whole lot longer. Get a Crown.

i don't have the TFV4, but i do own a Crown and my wife has the Freemax Starre Pro... the Crown is AWESOME with the Starre Pro right behind it. the Crown has amazing flavor and great vapor production, will wick anything chain vaping, and is the absolute best build quality i've encountered on any tank. iv'e had one leaking issue because my mod was in my front pocket in 100+ degree weather walking around the county fair for six hours, juice got a bit thin... i usually get a couple of weeks out of the ni200 coils, but i like really sweet juices that usually gunk coils up pretty quick...

the Starre Pro has a little more vapor production but not quite as good of flavor and the coils last forever, in fact, i just changed my wife's first coil out two days ago, she'd been running it since August 2nd on her Sig 75 TC and running really sweet, coil gunking juice i mentioned above to boot...

When I first got the TFV4, thought was last tank for a while, now problems. Noticed the oring on rba deck would pitch into juice channels leaving gap for leak so tightening it less seemed logical, however when screwing together could still tighten more, the plastic piece where juice filled got deformed, second was included. Then top oring that holds glass in place to top cap expanded, broke glass trying to get in before noticed, then adjusted to where looked would work and broke 2nd glass. So to fix will need glass and oring kit not included if available. Guess this will be 10-15, unsure if will invest. Tank was great just not impressed have to replace these parts after not much time. Ordered black Crown last week and looking forward to Ctulula in black soon. Also using band was annoying. The performance of tank was outstanding, going through issue phase with my gear and not really in tolerance mode atm.

With the labor day sales going on, I did end up ordering a smok tfv4 last night, was still looking at the crown too, but as can get the smok with the RBA head, it worked out cheaper, and I just think the tfv4 looks way better than the crown IMO.

Just had my first leaking problem, tried the rba single coil design and a hole tank of jazzy boba poured out my favorite juice. So has anybody had any luck with wicking it and how did you do it?

I have the Crown and the TVF4 and love them both. I have not had a leaking problem with either but did have a lot of dry hit issues with the tri coil in the TFV4 but none so far with the quad coil. The quad coil is far and away the best flavor tank I've used but then I'm still relatively new at three months vaping. However, the quad does suck up the juice LOL The crown is very good and a much better ADV whereas the TVF4 is great for a flavor session.

I broke down and ordered a Crown tank in black along with the RBA head. $49 for the pair. Ouch. I really hope it's worth it. Everybody that has one loves it so I'm thinking it's probably a fair price. Still, that seems pretty steep for a Chinese RTA. If it rocks, the price will be an afterthought.

That does seem a bit steep. I bought my Billow V2's for 25.99 each. By the way, I really like them, hope you like yours.

Cheers,
Steve

Edit If anyone is interested, the TFV4 is on sale for $29.99 shipped

This is one of the reasons I still went with the TFV4, got the kit, which includes the RBA head for $31, and I just think the TFV4 looks cooler, but that doesn't mean I still won't get a crown if see it on a good sale with the RBA head included.

If you do get the crown make sure you have enough power, I have the rdna 40 and it barely can power the crown. 40 watts just isn't enough for the dual coils it uses.I am using the rba until I get a mod with more power.

My crown does need power even with .5 dual coil. I'm running it at 55 watts, and it will take more. Did a .4 ti build that kicks ass at 31 watts 355 degrees with temp offset using sig 75 tc

Same problem for me when using the single coil RBA deck. I seem to either over wick and get too many dry hits or under wick and the juice just pours out of the AFC holes.

I would love to know some tricks as well so I can keep my juice in my tank :)

well my second go at it was good no leaks and no dry hits thru two tanks so all is good . I watched a vid on you tube that was a hour and a half long to learn.

Checked ecigave just now to find that their laborday code was still working. Decided to go ahead and get the smok tfv4 for $30 shipped. After my orchid clone crapped out, I've been sticking to my drippers. It'll be nice to have a good rba tank with great airflow to add back into the mix.
