@tatty29 , I don't know if you listed what flavors you already have and I just missed it (which is entirely possible!), if not, could you list the flavors you have? It might help us in narrowing down some good (yet simple) recipes for you to try. I'm also a sweet creamy dessert vaper myself, so I'm sure I can find something in my bag of tricks, and if not, I'd wager HIC or one of the others can point you right. One of my personal faves is HIC's Tiramisu Cream... wicked smooth, creamy, and plenty sweet for me, and a double plus of it being a GREAT coffee flavor as well... Coffee flavors have been kinda my holy grail. I hadn't found a good one (or that didn't taste like burnt starbucks grounds ) up until trying that one.
@ ferris. Sorry no I didn't post the list of flavours I have. I tried coffee once and eww but that was probably ( at least partly if not fully down to my bad wicking) although I'm willing to try again and have two coffee flavours below. I say sweet desert vapes as I have an extreamilly sweet tooth and currently dieting so maybe it would trick my brain into thinking I have had a sugar fix lol.

Flavours list ( all FA unless stated)

Irish cream
Strawberry
Lemon Sicily
Apple pie
Jamaican rum
Brandy
Cocoa
Joy
Cookie
Vanilla bourbon
Maxx blend
Fresh cream
Coffee espresso
Chocolate
Tiramisu
Marzipan
Caramel
Cappuccino
Vienna cream
Classic vanilla
Hazelnut
Coconut
Marshmallow
Torrone
Catalan cream
Meringue
Custard cream

TFA Acetyl pyrazine
TFA Brown sugar

Sorry there not in any sort of order I just pulled them out of the box as Iv not really ventured into many at the moment.
Thank you for all the advice and help.

It works! My nephews have a big ole apple pie in the fridge right now that I'm trying not to touch, so I'm vaping the hell out of this Gambit clone right now! :p
My sweet tooth is crazy too - lost a TON of weight (well, 60lbs) when I first started vaping. ;)

I'm glad it works. I'm dieting and got crazy sugar cravings so been snacking on fruit but it's slowed down the loss a lot. Iv lost 5stone in five months so far and if vaping can help all the better. At least we can vape what we can't eat with out the consequences of the calories ;-)

tatty29 .....

If I'm you, with that list, I'd go 1% Tiramisu.... shake the piss outta it, (Maybe even warm soak... and shake the piss outta it again ! ), and try it.
Let it sit til tomarrow, and try it again !
Most get a Dark chocolate, even coffee taste from this and its a bold flavor even at small percentages.

Get that where you like it, and start to add......
A little Vienna cream, .5 - 1 %, ect.....
Small steps.

But anyways Tiramisu a good one to get your feet wet IMHO....
Good Luck !!!
:)

Lemon Cookie Delight by @Bryon here at VU.

Cookie 3%
Lemon Sicily 4%
Vienna Cream 1%
Joy 1% but it was added later, (the original recipe is great anyhow)

Think I was adding .5% Coconut although it was just as good without it, lol.

Thanks every one. I will get round to it all in the next few days. Being school holidays it's a hectic time. I think I will go with Huckleberried's suggestion of hic's limoncello Torrance parfait lemon liqueur mousse. I think for a while just to follow a recipie would be good. A couple of good tasting recipies to boost my confidence after the rocky start then I will experiment with the tiramisu.

Hi tatty i to had trouble with fa with harshness on the throat and not being very strong maybe try giving capella a shot? Iv had better success with them as there alot easier to do. Im not saying for et about fa just try cap to get a selection going then go back to fa sometimes a break can help? Just my opinion this is what iv done im now starting back on fa and feel much more relaxed this time round lol! Iv also tryed a few of hic recipies with much better success!
I see you live in the uk premium juice were i am in uk is £15 for 15ml rip off rite?
Oh 1 more thing to add i used to do 70vg mixes and gone down to 50/50 iv also found that can make things easier for me to work with and to taste

Hi Jason. I haven't been at this long so wanna keep at it with the FA for now but it's definantly some thing I will consider in the future. Iv also spent a lot recently so both the diy and setup funds are extreamilly low for now.
I have been mixing max vg up until now. I did order some pg tho as I was missing the throat hit a little and I could taste the distilled water in there which I was using to thin out with. I'm going to go with a starting point of 70vg 30pg for now as my coils wicked fine with the max vg all the way through.

Thanks n Iv no intention of giving up I wanna do this cuz like u said the premium juice is so expensive in the UK. My pocket can't afford that so it's either learn diy or to stop vaping which I can't see me doing. I def will do and thanks again for the advice.

ive found single flavor FA in max vg is often weaker then you'd expect. But when you start combining FA flavors you get the flavor you want

for example
My ADV is peach mango

So i treid FA peach and FA mango
That was OKish
FA MANGO is strong as hell
but when you add in FA white peach to that you get more peach form the two different peaches combing and making a stronger more flavorful peach

Same with apple
FA stark apple is ok by itself
FA fuji is ok by itself
But when you blend the 2 together then you get a great apple taste that is fairly strong

And a lot can be said for the tank/dripper whatever you are using. I just switched back to my maganus tank which has dual coils in it versus my kanger subtank. And damn my peach mango is 10 times more flavorful atm on the maganus then it ever was on the subtank. And it is flavorful on the subtank

Different builds can often make some flavors pop more then others. I noticed using Ni200 coils with my peach mango, I had to actually drop the mango % down a little because the ni were muting the peach thereby amplifying the mango

Hi and thanks for the insite to how you found things. I'm currently using a subtank mini and do have a dripper but tbh not fond of it so don't use it often. How ever I am looking at getting another tank. I like my single coil builds so was looking into a Lemo 2 and also possibly a delta with rba deck. Maybe I will have more luck with those.
I will be mixing my first recipe tonight with more then one flavour so I will see how that goes and if it's any better. As right now I am getting virtually no flavour at all.

Hi Jason. Iv had two subtanks and both have had issues. Iv given up on one but the one I'm using now I'm always wondering when things goin to go funky again. Iv had a few issues when ordering vape supplies off eBay so that is out for me to but if it works for you then that's great :)
I may get round to wrapping some more complicated coils at some point but for now I'm happy with my simple single coil 26g kanthal 6 wraps. Iv had good flavour off them befor so I know that it's not my coils causing the mute in flavour.

Blending the fruits is certainly the way to go with FA, for certain! I make a peaches-n- cream style that is sooooo much better with both of the peaches. (Super simple, but can post after I do some yard work this afternoon if anyone's interested)

As for tanks, I can DEFINTELY second the Maganus/ Starre tank (they're the same thing, just one's branded differently)... best flavor I've had outside of my Billow v2 or a dripper. Those stock coils rock! I get about two to three weeks on a coil head with those things, and I use some sweet juices too.

With a kanger subtank, I was the same way, only way I could get what I wanted outta the Sub mini was with the RBA deck and claptons. Nothing else produced a decent flavor, and well, we won't even talk about the utter crapshoot that is kanger's premade coils. You'd think after so many damned complaints about the coils, they'd QC a bit...

I'd seriously consider the Delta over the Lemo2... I've heard nothing but trouble with the lemo 2. I've got both the v1 Lemo and the Drop, and they are no where near what I had hoped for. From what I understand, the only real difference between the v1 and v2 is that one's a top fill (I could be wrong here, so take it for what that's worth). *shrugs* I dunno, to me that's not enough to try them again. I get by with bottom filling just fine.

@tatty29 what dripper do you have?

My peaches and cream is:

1.5% FA Peach
1.5% FA White Peach
1% FA Pear
1% FA Vienna Cream (Catalan Cream also works)
1% Vanilla Classic (Vanilla Bourbon also has a nice flair)

I can really taste the peach now that I have several dozen peach recipes in rotation. Some of my friends prefer this recipe at 2-2.5% of both peaches, but that it a little too peachy for me.

Ok why pear? and why that much? I find pear to be a strong flavor

I looked into the Maganus when suggested but I don't want some thing I can't build on and I didn't see any were that said I could so that's a no no for me. I would consider it if there was an RbA deck for it tho.

Fenris I'd rather not say. It's a cheep one but was sold to me with a much bigger price tag then it should have and it was made to sound rather appealing when the reality is that it's really not up to the job. Surface to say I won't be going back to my local vape store again especially as some advice I was given could have lead to my device blowing up.

the maganus can use the segatank rba deck also called the anyvape rba deck. ohmbuster.com has it so does origin vape in uk.

But to be honest their prebuilt coils are amazing you just need a mod that can run them. Their .5 ohm coils need at least 50 w of poweer versus say the .5 coils form kanger which can run well below 20. This is due to the fact the maganus coils are DUAL verticals. I couldnt get any type of build to work on my subtank rda deck, and pulled the maganus from the drawer now that I actually have a mod that can run it, my istick 30ws were not a good match.

The maganus can also run artic, herkales atlantis and other coils SO its a versatile tank with MEGA airflow that may tank some getting used to. But the flavor on either their stock .5 kathal coils or ni200 coils is mind blowing compared to stock kanger coils

Heres what i notice for me in comparison.

When I drink any type of fruit juice my mouth gets dry and the back of my togue gets all this saliva build up and the taste of the fruit juice sits there. same happens with soda for me. No clue its just how I am. Now I never had that happen from vaping, until the maganus. Now after 3 or 4 draws on my peach mango its like i just took a drink of some peach mango juice.Thats how much flavor I get, its like the real thing for me.

FA Pear can make peaches pop too... I use it mine as well, just lower.

**All Flavors FA unless otherwise noted**

1.5% Peach
2.0% White Peach
0.5% Pear
1% Vienna Creme (I use Catalan when I want a bit more of a spiced peach)
1% Vanilla Bourbon (Used to use Classic, but found the bourbon was a bit more of a stronger vanilla flavor for what I wanted here)
*Optional*
0.25% Brandy (to give the peaches a cooked flavoring)

I mix it up, toss it on the mag stir plate for about 30m, load up and vape it. I also up the peach at times for one of my friends who's using a Nautilus tank, and is a peach nut (pit? ;))

@Mattp169 's short review of the Maganus/ Starre is basically what I'd say as well... its a beast of a tank, awesome flavor, and good airflow to it as well, so you can dial it back for mouth to lung, or wide open and chuck some decent clouds. Even wide open, the stock coils produce tons of flavor.

To me the Vanilla just makes the "cream" part a bit more creamy, but I'd imagine its just fine without it, maybe up the Vienna a tad to compensate? I highly recommend getting at least a 3ml of all three of the vanillas, because at some point, you're gonna want them.

I tend towards creamy sweet vapes, so for me, the vanillas were some of the first I bought. I use them in a lot of recipes just like you'd use vanilla extract in cooking.

see ive never really tried CREAMY vapes, but since most are fruitty and I like apple, peach, mango, pear flavors,Hell I would love to find a good quince. Found one and it was horrible, nothing like what the local store uses. But Ive been wanting to try creamy stuff to see if i like it. figured I could just add a few drops of the "cream" ingredients to a tank of my peach mango etc to see if I liked it.

Been trying different things like apricot brandy which I really like, so I have a bottle of peach brandy sitting somewhere to test. Just keep forgetting cuz Ive been playing with TC on my new D2 mod.

So it sounds like vanilla and cream are what make up the "cream" ingredients?

Sounds like you and I have similiar tastes, friends, and setups. I tried 1% pear right off the bat, and the sweetness it added was sufficient. I am going to mix up a batch and up the white peach and half the pear and see how it stands up to my last batch. Unfortunately I don't have brandy (only red wine) so it will be until my next vape mail that I get to try the cooked peaches. :)

My one peach fiend friend also has a mini nautilus and he just went ape-$h!t at my recipe at 2%peach 2.5% white peach. Still too peachy for my Herakles or dripper. He is also just a few weeks off the stinkies, so his taste buds I imagine are still dull.

My DIY 4000rpm magnetic stir plate is my proudest creation though, and I love how much time it saves me.

I absolutlely LOVE my DiY Stirplate, and yeah, it saves sooooooooo much time! I need to actually set mine up in a box, as right now its still super rudimentary, but works just fine, it just ain't as perrty as I'd like it to be. Needs some make up!

I do a peach Brandy as well, super good stuff!

Yeah, I tried the "Nautilus Mix" in my Starre tank and damned near blew my face off with the peach! I knew dripping it would blow my head off, since my normal build is a dual clapton that comes in at 0.2 ohms.

So it sounds like vanilla and cream are what make up the "cream" ingredients?

Kinda? It all depends on how much cream you want to come through over the fruits, really. If you want super creamy, Vienna, Fresh Cream, a dash of Vanilla and some custard will certainly kick it over (Though the FA Custard does have that Italian custard (minor lemon note, which I enjoy))

We should make a list of all the flavorings we use to modify other flavors without actually having a major flavor of their own. I can think of pear, fuji apple, orange, citrus mix, grapefruit, apricot, of course vanilla and amber...there are a lot more I'm sure.

I gave up on rebuildable tanks more than a year ago. They have probably gotten better, but I think the wicking is too touchy on those things. I was pretty much all drippers, but I have liked my Smok TCT a lot since I started going temp control.

You need some vanilla man. I have to stop myself from putting a little vanilla bourbon in almost everything I make. It just smooths things out and adds a soft texture to the vape. Its also a flavor enhancer and can add quite a bit of sweetness if you use a full percent or so.

Hey guys! I know many have wanted to see these - lab tests on FA flavoring:
http://flavourartnaflavourreports.com/

And THIS part especially interests me, from the bottom of that page:
"Please watch for news of the public release of information regarding our Flavour Art Clear Stream Onward research this September 2015. This will move us another decade ahead of others in knowledge and assurance in long term understanding of health affects of our flavours used for inhalation in vaping." Some of us noticed FA's ClearStream pages recently vanished from their main website, so I'm sure curious what this "release of information" might be!

By the way, those lab tests show a couple flavors as "clear" that still have warnings on FA's main website. For example: http://flavourartexpress.biz/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=674 - I'll bet it will take a while for vendors to all get the new versions in stock (if recent experience with Joy is typical, it'll take a couple months).
