Hey guys/gals, just wanted to introduce myself and say hi! I've been lurking for the past month or so, trying to learn as much as I can, these forums have been invaluable in my journey into vaping.
I started vaping about 4 weeks ago, went to my local B&M vape shop and picked up a Kanger Evod kit. Overpaid for it, but I'm glad I did. I had never vaped before that point, but after the first pull, I was hooked, stopped smoking (all forms of tobacco) that night. I was a avid cigar/pipe smoker, and picked up cigs about 3-4 years ago. Just had our 2nd kid and I was trying to convince myself to quit, vaping has been the answer so far, completely curbed my cravings for tobacco, although I definitely vape more than I smoked
I used the Evod for about week, and while I was at another local B&M, saw that they had the Subox mini kit on sale, so I picked that up. Used the stock coil for a day or so, and then dove into rebuilding the RBA. The amount of flavor and vapor production blew me away, but I was definitely going through juice way to fast. I wanted to save money by quitting! So I bulk ordered PG/VG/Nic and a whole bunch of FA flavors, and started mixing a couple weeks back.
Another week went by (and another trip to my local vape shop later) and now I'm using a Plume Veil RDA. I put 4-5 builds on it the first night, just to try and see what I preferred. I'm loving it so far, it's not nearly as convenient as the ST mini, but the amount of flavor and vapor can't be beat. There's something about taking your time to build it the way you want it, drip, and taking that first delicious pull that is truly satisfying. It's about as close as it comes to the process of smoking a pipe that I can get. Very relaxing.
