Can E-Cigarettes Cause Lipoid Pneumonia?

Operative word: OIL. I had a discussion with a Facebook bud over this, said his doctor swore they caused his pneumonia. But he got chapter and verse from me.....and I MIGHT have called his doctor a bad name....or few......

My mother is in an assisted living home where many of the residents vape (nothing to do with me) and they all call ejuice 'oil'. I keep trying to correct them it is not oil because it would be so dangerous to vape. Perhaps it would be worse to call it juice in there, in case other residents decided to drink some.
