Suggestions for an RTA

I am looking for an RTA to replace my Nautilus Mini. I really like it with the BVC coils but I want to be able to rebuild. I know you can rebuild the BVC coils but want something actually made for rebuilding. I have built on my Subtank and found that to be enjoyable (the rebuild- not the tank). I have an Atlantis and a Subtank mini but don't really care for them because I am a mouth to lung guy and they seem more geared towards direct lung (even when I adjust the airflow). I like a somewhat tight draw (only use the two smallest settings on the Nautilus Mini). I have lurked for a while and seen people mention Kafun, Taifun, Rose and Lemo. I usually vape 70/30 at about 9 watts/4.2v./1.8 ohms. I want 1) A tank that doesn't leak or crack 2) Easy to refill 3) Functions well (no dry hits/wicking issues) 4) Reasonably priced. I have paid for 2 tanks I don't use and thought it best to reach out for experienced advice before buying another.

Russian 91%. I've got 2 of them and absolutely love them. Adjustable airflow, no leaks, easy to build on and great for mouth to lung. I still use my nautilus mini's but the flavor on my Russian 91 is just over the top.

If you're a mtl guy, the Kayfun V4 (either Tobeco or the Infinite from FT) are good choices. And they're top fill (which I love).

Not a problem. That's what we are all here for. There's a lot of rtas out there and everyone has their opinion of what's best. I've had a couple of orchid v4's and never used them. Just didn't care much for them at all. A lot of people like the kayfuns and I just picked the russian because I liked the looks of it. Maybe watching some youtube videos will help you make a better decision, it did me. Not sure what other rtas run price wise but I bought an authentic Russian 91% from electronicstix.com for $30 plus shipping and have not regretted it. Hope I didn't confuse you more, just trying to help. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Another great option is billows V2. I just got mine Friday and it's nothing short of freaking amazing. It's dual coil and I currently have nickle in it. No leaks, easy to fill, 5 ml ca I acity, great airflow and can be tuned for mouth to lung. I'm loving mine at the moment and it's now my all day tank

^^^^^^ What the Vaping Devil said. I just received mine on Saturday and haven't put it down since. Exact same setup, I'm very impressed.

Kayfun or Russian. Russian is going to be cheaper unless you get a Kayfun clone. I love my Russian and it's an authentic. It has replaced my nautilus mini.

Another vote for the Russian. I have one and love it! It's hard to beat for MTL vaping.

I have an Orchid V7 I got from Vapeguru's thats worked nicely for me. Replaced my Subtank Mini with it. It's airflow is a little tighter than I'd like it though. I've been eyeballing the SilverPlay V2 from VaporDNA lately... basically looking for a tank that will be my on-the-go setup when the RDA isn't viable.

Thank you all for responding. Looks like the Russian or Billow v2 may be the way to go. If Russian is the 91% the best option...there seems to be more recent versions.

I can't understand why in thread after thread someone asks for recommendations for a mouth to lung device and people keep telling them to get some big air device that is designed for and performs best when used as a direct lung hitter. Whatever. Good luck OP.

You can easily use the Billow V2 for mouth to lung, the airflow ring can be closed down to pinhole size.

You can use a lot of devices in a manner they weren't engineered for, but why would you? Why would you tell someone to get a dual coil, big air device and then tell them to restrict the airflow so much the dual coil deck and big chamber and chimney aren't..... Nevermind.

My vote is for the Lemo 2.

Super easy to install coils and fill with E-Liquid, does not leak, adjustable air flow from pretty much sealed to wide open and great for lung hits and great flavor and vapor.

Holds 3.8 ml of liquid which is the perfect amount for me as around that point I am wanting a different flavor of liquid anyway.

I think we are on the same page...I thought I would be able to adjust the airflow on the Atlantis and Subtank Mini to make them good MTL's and didn't like the outcome which is why I'm searching for something engineered for MTL.

Again...thanks for the replies. I have narrowed it down to a version of the Lemo or a version of the Russian. Is the Russian 91% a better option than the more recent versions? Any thoughts/suggestions?

Appreciate all the responses...decided to go with a Russian V2. May follow up and get a Lemo 2 if the Russian is not to my liking.

I have the billow v2 now an enjoy it. I loved the first Goliath, so the second must be better. And the cthulhu rta is on my radar if I can find a reputable dealer.
