I actually gave it a fair chance, It's just not a place I want to be. After being here, I feel dirty and feel the need to shower. I just do not get a good vibe so the content doesn't really matter.

It's quite simple really, @vape_girl, this forum isn't merely trying... but is very effectively providing a place for vapers of all ilks to engage in free, open discussion, exchange ideas, and enjoy the company and camaraderie of others without fear of being reprimanded, muzzled or banned. All opinions are welcome. The exploding growth and overwhelmingly positive support we're getting indicate we're hitting that mark. Sadly, bandwidth and servers can't be paid for with unicorn emissions and good vibrations, so we allow vape vendors to secure ad space here. What I see is poor navigation, too many ads, and poor layout. Not very user friendly. It gives my a headache and makes me cranky. Oh, and ProVari hate, as with every other forum. See, that's the part I don't get. .If I were into Reos or Nemesis or Ego or whatever, it's all good. But I get judged for what I vape. That is not welcoming to me.

When you have a device that's as popular and has such an outspoken, die hard, fanatical user base such as the provari does, you're going to have people that speak out against it with the same fervor. It's a polarized topic. There's a lot of love and hate for that device. My advice is to not focus on the negative.

As far as the navigation is concerned..Like anything new, if you truly gave it a chance the navigation is easy to figure out, it just takes a minute, and a little patience.. one must be willing to learn. You could've just browsed the forum without even signing up and kept your opinions to yourself. You instead chose to come in hurling insults. I hope you didn't expect a warm reception. You get out of it what you put into it. Anyway, I'm going to quit wasting my time and let the other's have a turn. Good luck. Have a nice day.

PS it's really a nice place with a lot of nice people. I mean over 6k members in barely over a month.. can't be all that bad unless you hate %90 of the online vaping community.

One does not hate things. One hates people. I have my opinion on Provaris, eGos, and Reos, but ultimately, it boils down to

1/ whatever floats your boat,
2/ whether it keeps you off cigarettes or not - the really important bit.

Yeah you're getting SOOOOoooo much hate.... you do realize that 9 of your 10 posts are in this thread alone and your first message you were welcomed into VU. Oh wait maybe you thought you could hide behind a wall and people can't investigate you oops sorry to burst your bubble. One OMG there are ads on VU... seriously they are on the very bottom of the page and on the side of the page and really don't do anything unless you click on them. Gee what a concept ads that don't do anything if you don't click on them.... so devious VU... If clicking on a heading that pertains to an interest you have is counter intuitive I think you need to reevaluate what ease of use is. But it's so hard to navigate but you found this one thread to fail troll on? So all i can think is Brianj made an account and called it female and made a different name. If all you are trying to do is see how tight nit of a group VU is you will find we take care of our own and any new vaper that wants to join in. But you want to come in gun blazing, saying things that are unfounded, and trying poorly I might add at trolling you get no sympathy. There I fed the troll.

You're not being judged for what you vape. You're getting what you gave when you clicked on a thread titled, "I can't tell ECF from VU Now". Nowhere in that title were the words ProVari, bashing or even vape girl.

As Tygger Tygger said, maybe you reap what you sow. Of all the threads here... you could've clicked a link where someone new might have been having trouble with their Provari.

Among other things, I have ProVarii, VTR, 134, MVP, and a Cool Fire 2 for my regulated devices. I also have a bunch of mechs, both genuine and clone. My favorites are the ProVari for reliability and VTR for form factor. I change juice frequently, and I prefer fruit. I have been vaping since November of 2012.

I learned about vaping from a family member. I tried it with no intention of quitting smoking, but I did within a couple of days.

I rebuild and do not subohm.

Hmm your story is very similar to mine. I was telling it to a smoker today in a shop and he's now going to have some vape gear off me to get going

I told him that I started with the fruit flavours and after a coupe of days they made smoking taste awful and I didn't want that smoke taste anymore. He seems quite excited about it.

I was a VTR fanboy till I got a mini cana. But vaperjoe posted a post the other day saying a provari is coming with an Evolv board. And I'm buying it even if I have to pay duty which is likely. Then I'll change my profile pic to a pic of it hahaha maybe

I'm glad you've responded the way you have. Your story is more important than that and you haven't let a bad first impression deter you. There are lots of new people joining all the time that you can help. And I can think of a good, oh, twenty and a half members that are great. There are many rooms on vu. Also a non vape related one which I like.

I'm not trying to argue with you really, but I just don't think that's true. Everyone here has been VERY welcoming and kind to me, even tho I'm a complete n00b using complete n00b gear. They have made it clear they don't care about all that, they're just proud of me for not smoking cigs. I don't even know what Provari means, THAT is how much of a n00b I am. It matters not. I feel very comfortable here, and you could too. You might just need to adjust your attitude & outlook and give people a reason to treat you nicely and be more welcoming, that's all.
OR, if what they're all saying is true and you are a troll, then you're doing a fine job, keep it up.

I'm hoping that's not the case, tho.

This is what vu looks like on my iphone. It's just one long list. It's very easy but I it looks very different on my iPad. I think it's device specific as to what or how you'll see it. My Apple devices make their own minds up

I was wondering what app she's using or what device/browser. My kindle doesn't like this forum. My android phone is fine with it, I can't get the tapatalk app to download (its my own stupidity I'm sure). But I know if I try & use this forum with the silk browser on Kindle its nearly impossible to use. Which is why I use the forum on my laptop - Chrome - only, but others may not have the same luck with other browsers, or the ability to have more than one device from which to access the forum.

If there's a specific app or device you're having issues with - you may want to let them know in the "report a bug" forum. I'm not sure what tweaking could be done, but if they don't' know about, they can't fix it.
