I personally don't have a problem with him as the beard thing is running rampant these days I could care less, after watching all the reviewers his vids are top notch as far as close ups and info. I just think its funny how people say they hate him but the reasons why are pretty um, silly.

The beard thing was just my failed attempt at humor. I don't actually care about people's facial hair. It's the fake wackyness that bothers me the most. It's like trying to watch Krusty the clown give a review.
it's just hard to see that and then take him seriously. Like I said,I like when he gets down to actual facts,pros and cons and the "if I lost it today" portion. The rest I can deffinatly live without.

He could go with a trim though I get why people could get annoyed with him but man I have seen some reviewers that literally make my head hurt, guys in a bathroom with no lighting can't see anything bobbling words and they are using a flip phone to record it.... I can't imagine how much stuff he gets sent to him just like Phil busardo and the twisted dude, I bet it's crazy.

Just my $0.02. But when I look at a temp control mod, that's what I'm using it for. Temperature control or limit, whatever you'd like, is fantastic! I love the vape. Even my favorite mod (Sigelei 100w Plus) doesn't see much action, except when I'm charging my Evic VT. Temperature control is far superior to straight variable wattage/voltage.
All that said who the hell needs 200w to punch the coil up to temp, I don't even use the full 60w on the Evic.... 200w is just excessive imo. Even if you're in variable wattage mode. I could see 100-150w in variable wattage mode. But definitely not in TC mode, which is why I would buy a TC mod, for temperature control not what I can get out of it in VW because I don't like VW much after getting into temperature control.

Since Friday I've charged it once. Been chain vaping a flavor build of .95 at 40 watts. It does drain quick off the start going from 12.6 to 11.8 or so. Then it holds steady around 11.8 to 11.5 before going down any more. Thats with the occasional 100 to 200 watt hits every now and then. Im overall satisfied with it. Haven't played around with the online software that Evolv has but basic functions on the box are easy enough to grasp.

So you haven't even played with all the new software features yet? I would think it would be kind of overwhelming at first with so many differen't features.

Lol, He's not a bad reviewer by any means, I'll be the first to admit that I watched him when I first started vaping. Some of his building videos really have helped me along the way.

He did just have a kid I believe, if so I remember those days of sptchy sleep cycles. Of course I may have been impaired a bit back then too lol.
