Hey all, been vaping for about a year and a half. Mostly happy with all my setups, I just can't find anything that I can carry in my pocket with out leaking, either outside or into the battery connection.

Anyone have any tips on hardware that would be great to carry in a pocket while at work? I work outside some, so during the summer the heat helps my rigs to leak some I'm sure.

Right now I've been carrying an Igo-L, I just try to make sure and vape it almost dry before putting it up. Would love to use a tank though.

Thanks for any suggestions.

The main problem is that anything designed to let air in will undoubtedly let liquid out. Catch 22. If it's leak proof it's probably un-vapable. :D

Most clearomizers won't leak if they are upside down. Any pressure temperature change can cause fluid to be pushed past the coil and down the air intakes. If it is upside down, the inlets are on the top.

Thank you for the replies. I think heat is my main problem. Air inside the tank heats up and forces the liquid out.

Does anyone know if rta's such as a lemo or subtank with the rba base, are as prone to leaking this way as a protank head?

The Lemo2 does not leak if required just turn the air sleeve to close the intake. To date my Leno 2 has never leaked even with the air vent open.

If you want guaranteed leak-free, you need an atomizer that draws air from the top - and not just from the top of the *ouside* of the bell, I mean from the top surface. The only way such an atomizer could leak is if you tilted the whole mod upside down and left it that way for quite some time - and that's the least likely position you'll put it in for any length of time.

I don't know if tanks exist that draw air from the top. I drip myself. For RDAs however, there are the Manta v2, the Pulse dripper, the Buhawi, the Rogue and a few others. I've never had a single drop come out of either of those RDAs, even when they're completely flooded.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I've really been wanting to get a new tank but there are sooooo many choices right now, it's tough. I kinda fell in love with the Lemo when I first seen it though.

Giraut, I will have to check out those rda's you mentioned, do any of them have a tighter draw than the rest? I still haven't started taking any lung hits yet and need a tighter draw. Probably just need to lower my nic level and man up to it, eh?

You don't *have* to take lung hits if you don't want to :)

All the atomizers I've mentioned can be closed tighter than a nun's ass, apart from the Rogue RDA, onto which the airflow control ring is mostly cosmetic (i.e. the Rogue is pretty much always wide open).

I suggest the Silo Beast tank. It uses Atlantis coils. You could close the airflow while it is in your pocket and open it to vape. It is built very solid. I have the Kanger sub tank mini and it doesn't leak a lot but occasionally it will. I hope this helps. The Aspire natalius mini has a tight draw but is all glass, you can buy a stainless sleeve for it though. I used it for a long time and it didn't leak.
