Need a Compact (Short) Tank

Hi all,

Right now I'm using a Derringer RDA on my IPV4 and really enjoy the fact that it's so short and compact and still produces great vapor and flavor. However, I'm becoming less and less a fan of having to drip after every 5 hits. With that being said I'm starting to think that maybe dripper's aren't my thing.

Is there anything out there that still maintains a short and compact look but can hold more juice than a dripper? I've considered the Lemo Drop but it's still tall compared to an RDA and I'm not a fan of the 23mm footprint.

Any advice would be great, thank you.

You could try the lemo 2 which is 22 mm and has better airflow than the drop.

While I am a new convert to the Lemo II, it's not exactly short. Rather the opposite.

The Lemo Drop may be worth considering?

Compact in height? Or just diameter?

Compact in height but also no more than 22mm in diameter. I have a pouch that I keep my mods in while at work and it barely fits an IPV4 with a subtank nano with the drip tip removed. The 23mm diameter thing I just don't like the edge of the tank hanging over the sides of the mod. More of an OCD thing than anything else.

There is a new Goblin rebuildable coming out too. If I remember right they're just calling it the Goblin mini. Pretty sharp looking too.

The Tobeco Super Tank is the closest vaping comes to smoking. It works extremely well,it's reliable, no leaking at all no matter what, and just works flawlessly. Its Not very short, but it's also not too long. Enjoy

It's a sweet tank best ud tank yet. So small and more airflow then the previous tanks the size and airflow makes it performance like drippers.

Been using the goblin mini for a whole day now and my initial thoughts on the tank are very positive. So far vapor production and flavor are excellent. I'm currently using dual coils @ 0.6ohms. The build quality of the tank is excellent and it comes with extra parts which is a plus. The main downside is that it is a difficult build because of the size. Just taking the tank apart is very difficult because the base is so short that you can't get a good grip on it. Also the bottom of the tank has sharp edges where it is milled out and after the first install on my Vaporshark DNA40 its already chewed off the rubber paint at the top.

Vapor production is great, very similar to some of my drippers. Flavor is also really good although with the current dual coil set up I have the flavor is not as good as my subtank mini with RBA head. I'm going to try running the single coil next and I'm positive I can get the flavor on par if not better than the subtank mini with the RBA head. Overall for the price you absolutely cannot miss out on adding this tank to your collection. It brings a lot of positives to the table and most if not all of the negatives are based on the small size which is expected.

Pros:
  • Excellent build quality and design
  • Can run dual or single coil
  • Lots of extras included such as a 510 drip tip adapter
  • Vapor and flavor is excellent (as long as you build it right)
Cons:
  • Hard to take apart
  • Filling it is a chore
  • It is a difficult build and can lead to bad leaking if you don't wick it right

Thank you for taking the time to do this for us Mad

No problem!

Just a little update. I love this thing! I threw it on my IPV4 and have been vaping the .5 ohms at around 40w and the flavor and vapor is excellent. I don't think I'll go back to drippers after this, I just don't see the point of drippers anymore since I'm more of a flavor guy than cloud chaser.

Highly recommended.

How do you wick it so it doesn't leak? I've searched, watched YT vids, etc...

What helped me TONS was watching the Hank Vapes video and seeing how he wicks it. It made a world of difference for me. It's hard to explain in text so just watch the YouTube video on his technique to wicking it and see if that works for you. It did for me.

EDIT: Sorry I originally said grim green but that was incorrect. It's a Hank Vapes video.
