Hi everyone. I have the IPv4 and yesterday I was playing about with it and put it in temp control mode with a kanthal build thinking that it wouldn't work but to my surprise it's works fine in temp control on kanthal build has anyone else had the same? Also is it going to do anything if I carry on running the kanthal builds in temp control?

Has anyone had the same thing with being able to temp control kanthal on a IPv4? And if so will it do any harm using it in temp control with kanthal in the long run?

Temp control works by the varying resistance of the wire. Kanthal does not vary much. It will do you no good. Just use the product as it was designed and avoid any potential problems.
