CAP Vanilla Cupcake 3%
CAP Vanilla Custard V2 2%
FA Strawberrry 3%
FA Vanilla Classic 1%
FA Meringue 1%
FA Fresh Cream 1%
FA Vienna Cream 1%

I can taste some cake and I can taste strawberry but it just isn't right. I tasted a strawberry shortcake at a B&M that I liked, in a dripper. I am trying to get close. I have all the FA vanillas, FA marshamallow, TFA Cheesecake Graham, TFA Brown Sugar Extra and more stuff. I also have CAP Sweet Swtrawberry and CAP Cake.

I don't really know where to go with this. I didn't know how high to go with the Vanilla Cupcake. It is not distinct.

Any help is appreciated.

What about making the Meringue and Fresh Cream a bit more "minor"? They both give a fullness to a vape, so you might get more emphasis from the Cupcake by reducing those 2 flavors to 0.5%. I'm only guessing this. Possibly even reduce the Vienna.

Cupcakes sound awesome! I like the flavors you used.

I'm thinking the vanilla in the cupcake, custard, and classic might be muting the cake part.

I do have CAP Cake. What do you recommend. What percentage would you go? Should I increase CAP Van Custard and cut the other vanillas and creams? Maybe add some CAP Ripe Strawberry or maybe just go with CAP strawberry. CAP Strawberry tastes a little candy to me which is why I went FA on the strawberry.

Open to suggestions.

I'd add 0.5% Apple Pie along with that custard to bolster the cake flavor

I think I would start with the same percentage of cake as the cupcake and work up or down from there in small samples.

I had a hard time getting Vanilla Cupcake flavorings to work out right.. after a lot of trial and error, I use CAP Cake Batter at 2%, 2% total of what kind of cupcake I want (Strawberry, Lemon, ChocFudge Brownie, etc) and a few drops of Lorann's Cream Cheese Icing- sometimes less is more! and most have been shake-n-vape!

since you have the CAP Cake, add your fruit and try it.. add anything little by little would be my suggestion.

Here is one that i love.. i modified a recipe i saw from arnieh.
all TPA with the exception of the yellow cake which is (FW)

Yellow Cake (FW) 4%
Vanilla Cupcake 5%
Bavarian Cream 3%

I made a raspberry cupcake with the vanilla cupcake as the base and a drop of AP. It took a solid 3 weeks sitting before I could taste the cupcake. Sadly it turns out Raspberry and my olfactory senses don't get along. a vape or two tastes great and then It turns into some weird chemical thing? Same thing with razcup from NT

edit - and i agree with the poster that suggested nixing the vienna cream and lowering the others

I have FA Raspberry and not found it good in anything I have tried it in. It is probably me and not the raspberry.
