Just a fair warning it will be amazing for a good while just the latch/rim on the door sturdiness wears down in less than a day I can live with a halfway OK looking clone no biggie but the strength of the springs are way to much force for the little edge to keep up with
Maybe try to work the springs by hand for a while before first use. It may take a lot but in the end they may losen a bit. Based on what you describe would that be a fix?
I been watching some videos on it to see if we maybe able to drill another hole for the pin on the battery cover would move the door over a bit maybe give it more to catch??
Sounds a bit more invasive than i like but good thinking just in case. I don't know of any reason why the springs need to be super strong. Do you think it helps conductivity? You guys will have a solve for sure before i even see mine. I'm out of town until the 21st. All I've got is a teaser pic my lady sent me... yes it arrived on friday the 5th.

Mine the top part isn't secured at all and no way to secure it. It slides right off and sends the button and the top contact flying.

I just got mine about 5 minutes ago. None of the pieces are flush, the Deleon and black aluminum don't sur flush against the side. The battery door on mine seems to hold just fine.

There is no serial number ion it. But it works great! The button throw is nice and short. Nothing rattles with batteries in it. Fires the rda everyone without issue.
Overall it's pretty damn good for being a 30$ mod. I'm pretty happy with it. It's very small kinda wide but to too bad. So far so good. I don't think you guys have anything to worry about based on the mod I recieved.

I don't know why you guys are bitching so much, I've been playing with mine today and the only problem I've had is that my atty won't sit flush, don't really give a fuck. Hits like a champ, looks great with my samurai bonsai clone from angelCigs. For 25 dollars I can't complain.

I'm bitching because I can't even use mine. Like I said the top of it isn't secured at all and there's no way to secure it. Pull up and the whole top comes off. Button and all. Turn it upside down the whole top comes off. Button and all.
Take it all the way apart and put it back together, guarantee you the screws aren't in all the way. There are plenty of YouTube videos detailing how to take it apart and put it back together.
I did and it just looks like there are screws missing. I'll try again when I get home tonight
It's not bitching if it's a piece of utter trash for almost 2 months of waiting the door works fine for a bit then fucks up on its own if I'm going to buy a clone from now on its going to be skx/infinite hcigar nothing else definetly not tobecco or this vaping dream company
Out of curiosity, did you screw on the atty before you inserted the batteries? If yes, it still doesn't sit flush?

If they are missing try a hardware store like orchard supply, shouldn't be more than a dollar or two.
Well I attempted to fully disassemble it, to see if there were screws at all and if there are to make sure they're tightened, and I couldn't get the pin out that holds the door in. I tried for 1 1/2 hours. Even went as far as a punch and a hammer and it won't budge.
I'm beyond disappointed. I ended up using some E9000 and super gluing the top on so I can at least get my $25 out of it.

I'm going to ask for a refund if I don't get it I'm not doing business again with them and ill stick to FastTech I usually get my items in 10-12 days with ft

No I'm saying that our castigador is from vaping dream. I'm not sure whether their supplier is.
I confirmed with somebody over at their customer service that it is made by IVOGO
I'm also very disappointed in mine. The 510 is installed crooked so the atty does not sit flush. There are gaps all over the place where the pieces don't quite line up how they are supposed to. And the brass battery door.. yeah, "brass". It's definitely NOT brass. It's plated to look like brass - you can tell from the underside. And mine was all tarnished right out of the box. Does it work? Yup. But for the amount of time I waited I am extremely disappointed in what I received. 1:1 clone is a complete lie.

Definitely post some pictures. I have one from Angelcigs and although it's not that bad it has spaces where it doesn't fit correctly. The 510 is fine . I tried to take the door off but I couldn't get that pin out so I could see the inside, so I said forget it.Ordered mine on Friday from EZVaper and i should have it Monday am let yall know what the ivogo version is like fingers crossed

You'll probably want to clean the inside contacts at some point so maybe you can use one of those special screw tools to remove the screws and replace them with your angelcigs ones, if you got one of those. At least the batt door stays shut and the 510 is in order. Those were the other critical points I am worried about.
Yeah I did but the problem is actually with my atty come to find out. The center post is popping up from the deck.

The top black portion is getting hot like its shorting... Any ideas?
i don't see how, mechanically, unless the internal buttom component is connecting. or how about the screws. could the screws be connecting bottom-top metal pieces?

Back from vacay finally and been using my El Castigador with success for last few days. It really does hit quite nicely. The material feels of decent quality, surprisingly.
My gripes:
-Battery door tarnished upon arrival. Meh.
-Gaps between pieces but aren't very noticeable unless looking at it.
-Bottom of device has sharp edges and corners and this is my biggest gripe.
-Regarding the battery door issue, i can feel that its weak and might break. When i put the atty on before the batteries the pressure from the springs are just too much and can tell its lutting stress on the hinge and imagine that lip as well once its closed. So didn't even try to close the door completely with this method. I've been putting the atty on after the batteries and not tightening it down very hard at all. Two of my attys (magma, kanger sub) sit flush without much effort and Little Boy rda has a small gap that I've decided to just live with.
Hope everyone else is doing as well as i am. Probably just jinxed myself by writing this but wanted to share.
