I think I am getting fairly good at making coils so maybe the problem is the cotton I just don't know this has been driving me nuts I am going through wire and juice like crazy trying different builds. I have a magma and plume veil . The plume veil I get a little vapor from but nothing like I see in videos and the magma the little bit of vapor that is produced burns like hell when I inhale. I have tried every thing from twisted 22 gauge dual coils to single 28 gauge coils. I have a 26659 panzer and both my rda's are the 26650 versions this is the current build I have on the plume veil it is twisted 22 gauge I don't think I am getting the cotton right

Are you leaving space underneath the coils? like a donut with the top going thru the coil. Also try staggering the leads in the posts. Instead of puting the leads in 1 and 2, then 3 and 4 (like the picture) try 1 and 3, then 2 and 4. Did I explain that ok? This might help with airflow.

With the build, as seen in the picture, your mod can't heat up the wire enough. Assuming your build is at 0.2 Ohm, and you're using a Efest 26650 3500mAh 3A. Check out the heat flux in the following link.

I'm using a Sleeper Coil build 24g 7/6 wraps 3mm ID => 0.3 Ohm in my Castor RDA. No problems. And as mentioned already above, make sure, you have air flowing around your coils.

This is what it should look like.

I think it don't make a any difference what coil you build as long as it is safe and works for you it's the wick so many different ways to install it????

Also make sure your not stuffing the wick to tightly, that's the issue I had when I started, snug with a small drag when moved back and forth is enough, play around with it and keep air moving under the coils as already stated, once you get it, it becomes second nature ^^

Have you tried just a simple basic build to see if that works for you?

Might be the kind of batteries are you using?

Before everyone goes crazy... What pg/vg ratio juice are you using and nicotine level?

Might be the kind of batteries are you using? Not getting the connection needed? I don't know.
Yes, you don't have a clue at all! Browse the forum and learn!
With a coil build as shown in the picture, all you are able to get out of the battery is 68.45W, resulting at a heat flux of 47 mW/mm2, barely able to heat up the coil. You need at least 120 mW/mm2!

Not to start a flame fest, but that was obviously googled. I was just asking a question.

I missed that part! You are spot on. Could be it. I don't know about all the fancy number things but whatever lol

You don't have to google, you just have to understand how steam engine works, in order to make a proper build.

I was also wondering if any one has got one of these 28mm rda's to hit right it seems no matter what build I put on my big plume veil it will not hit right I have a 22mm mutation x v4 and it is a lot better nothing like I see in the videos or vapor iq but it is a lot better than what I get from my big plume veil or magma

I do have a 26650 Plume Veil clone. However, I don't use it often, due to it's leaking issues. Currently, I have a Dual 24g 9/8 wraps 3mm ID => 0.4 Ohm build on it. Besides that, I have two Steam Monkee, a Mutation XL V3, two Stillair clones (3&5 post), and my favorite of all of my 43 RDAs, a Castor by Fog Monsterz.
