I'll wait for the inevitable clone, or as I did with the original buy one used. I can see an increase for the additional components, but not that much.

I love how they keep increasing the airflow on these but not the chimney.

I thought this too. Then I read the specs. Dual 3.3mm airholes on the deck. 6mm chimney. They chimney has greater area so the deck is the choke point (according to pi times radius squared equation to find area). The chimney has roughly 11 square millimeters larger area. I suspect that the variety of massive airholes on the side of the base are more for adjustment purposes. Anyway, I am not impressed by the price but the new fill method ought to appease a lot of V1 owners. I'm sure @Sully or I will end up with one soon enough.

The chimney ID increase is nice. As far as full tank access to the build goes, I suspect Billow 2 has the superior solution with its inner chamber. No disturbing wicks with screwing or unscrewing the tank.

Folks serious about rebuildable tanks need to start understanding that 3mm hole + 3mm hole does not equal 6mm hole! Circles don't work that way!!! Pinch point is not the chimney! Draw a picture, this is not real life! Area of a circle is (π * Radius squared)!!! Do the math! :)

Certainly true, Sully, and a 4.5mm chimney would be plenty to balance with 3mm holes. Moot point though. I find that with Orchid, Silverplay, Goblin, Cthulhu that I have less area around the coils and wicks for the air to move through than than the intake area measured at the deck. I don't think you will notice the benefit of 3mm holes unless you build with narrower coils, which I personally am not particularly interested in.

Wider chimneys brings other qualities though. Just try a chuff cap on a dripper. Sharper sensations, "stingys" and an "unblended" kind of vapor. My favorite is still an 11mm Orchid mod for that reason. However, if I want a mellower vape for certain juice, a narrower chimney seems better. Good to have a range of chimney sizes to choose from. :)

I loved the V1 and just purchased the V2. Built on UD clapton style dual coils at .3ohm, the V1 gave me flavor like nothing did before and I've tried alot of RTAs. And no dry hit at all wil 80% vg juices.

The Barrel drip tip to me is an added value, but I'm still intrigued by the 2nd filling option ...

I guess I'll see next week when it comes in :)

V2 may be a better Silverplay. But I prefer Goblin to Silverplay V1, and prefer Cthulhu to both by a significant margin, so just I can't see going for this.

I have the v1 and was looking forward to this...
But::::
Why not top fill?
Why do you still need the kayfun top for top fill?
Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the extra airflow?

I agree. Although I like my Silverplay, I enjoy my Cthulhu alot more. I would rather wait for the Cthulhu V2 and get that.

If you want clouds, I agree that Cthulhu is better, but for flavor.... IMHO, it doesn't beat the SP.

Honestly, I found that if I don't use a tight micro-coil on the Cthulhu and vape around 25w, the flavor from the Cthulhu is comparable or better than the Silverplay. But, I agree that the Silverplay has extraordinary flavor.

I hear ya, so many ways to build now a days, probably the reason why there's so much differrent experiences on various tanks.
