But you are right.
IMHO when you purchase or adopt a pet, you are assuming total responsibility for it for its entire life.
Also, its bad enough that we have the FDA and the ANTZ trying to crawl up our collective asses and we sure as hell need those psycho's from PITA getting in line.

there was a story last year or the beginning of this year where 4 young men wrestled a pelican to the ground and blew vape in it's beak and held it shut until it died. I don't think it was from the vapor maybe more from the shock and man handling. but cruel none the less.

Don't ever accidentally burn a teflon pan on your stove if you have a Bird in the house. The gases (polytetrafluoroethlyene) from overheated teflon are harmless to mammals, but will kill a bird quickly. My Brother is a Veterinarian and had a client who accidentally killed his Cockatoo like the one above.

Birds don't have lungs like you or I. They have air sacks and are very sensitive to chemicals. Even candles are a no no in a house where there is a pet bird. I have an Amazon and this video makes my blood boil. Why are people so stupid?
