NIC vs clouds...

Many on here vape higher wattage, and use RDA's with 3mg or 6mg nic and huff huge engulfing clouds. I have a Kanger subtank mini on a Smok Xpro m50. I currently have the RBA in it with a .5 ohm build. I vape happily at ~20 watts with 18mg nic. 3-4 hits and im good for a while. Clouds are ok, way more than say a clearo. Thoughts?

When I first started dripping I was chain vaping 18mg juice leftover from my aerotanks. It got me off of the smokes, and was basically getting me high as shit on nic. (Which is quite a feat for a 2 pack a day smoker).

It started making my left eye twitch, and I was feeling generally over-nic'd.

Dropped to 8mg, eye still twitched. Then to 6, which was good but since most of the better juices at my local b&M's only come in 3mg I decided to drop my level again. Still chain vaping, just like I used to chain smoke, but satisfied with the mix of flavor, vapor production, and nic delivery.

@Slurp812 It's all about what you like! I've found the longer I'm away from the cigarettes the more I like just vaping. It's become less a feeling of needing a nic fix and more a feeling of I just really enjoy clouds so I've gone from 18 down to 3-6mg in all my devices.

Haha ok here I thought I was the only one that got the eye twitch thing lol. When I first got my subtank I only had 18mg and I was chain vaping that stuff. Weird, it's always my left eye too that twitches when I get to over-nic levels

Um, eye twitching sounds like a really bad thing. Glad your down to 3mg!

No real thoughts about it here. Just different styles of vaping.

I'm one of those people with a high wattage low ohm RDA. I *love* the feeling of being able to take a deep breath and fill my lungs with the warm vapor, then feel it exiting again as I exhale. Couldn't get that with a tank, the wicks would go dry. When I switched to RDAs, I was in heaven. I had missed that feeling since giving up the cigs.

Lower nicotine is practically a requirement of sub ohming due to the extra vaper produced. I use 1-3mg in my 0.16ohm RDA @ 75 watts. Tried a coworkers ego and small tank a while back with his 18mg liquid, it didn't taste any different to me. Today at lunch, I let a coworker who is used to using an ipv try my sig with my 2mg juice. He barely took a hit and was coughing despite using 24mg liquid in is small tank.

I vape 12mg most days on my mechs around .2 to .3 ohms in mainly chuff topped cloud attys.Different styles and need for each person

Just finished my first year Vaping DIY 24mg Jucie with RTA.s and a Nautilus Tank. Build are 1,5 to 2 OHM 10 to 15 watts.Recent Batch of DIY Flavors was at 20mg. Plan on reducing nic strength to 15-10-5 over next 9 months using same tanks. Then 0 nic. I do not think even the FDA can stop me from mixing 0nic Juice. I still need the Hand to Mouth-inhale exhale action. Personally never cared for Cloud Vaping .My tanks produce as much or more Vapor then a long pull on a cigarette and that's the amount of Vaper I Like.

I'm the 3mg guy lol. Chain vape 3mg all day. Crank up the watts when needed and get a little nic buzz. However like it's been said. At the end of the day it's what makes you happy and works for you to keep you away from cancerettes !

I was lowering my nic steadily, going to a 6 when sub-ohming in my atlantis (great system I think--I don't really like to rebuild to me its a p.i.t.a.) but with my nautilus I've had to go back up to 18 as I was sorely tempted by the cancer sticks. I suppose I dropped my nic too low and the body was like "I want a smoke nao!" even if it did take me over a year to go from 24 to 6. That said I like a 9mg when sub-ohming.

I also like clouds when I'm sitting at home vaping. I have found that for me the best way to do that is to up the VG in my mixes as most of my juice is DIY. Yeah I'm one of those people, mixing juice no problem, rebuilding a coil...frustrating.
