So, finally broke down and bought a Freakshow today at a... not quite local B&M, though, in all fairness, I live in BF Nowhere Virginia and the closest place that had one was an hour and a half drive away (though, that's not the reason I was over there). I just have a basic 24 agw macro coil that comes out to about 0.34ohms. Holy crap flavor. Also grub screw are always awesome. I have this thing on 1/3 airflow and it still fogs the place up while tasting like I'm eating my juice.

Get a Freakshow.

As far as I know the mini version is quite comparable to the Derringer in terms of giving you a warm, dense vape at higher ohms. I got the standard Freakshow because I still like the option of building low. Still, a mini is on the list of things I want. The mini is also a flavor machine.

I'm convinced. Time to get a freakshow. And a Derringer. I have a magma and the flavor is incredible. Curious to compare the 3

Blows the Magma clear out of the water IMHO. Flavor is better then the Derringer as far as I'm concerned.

3 mm id dual parallel coils, plus lots of cotton wicking. These puppies will leak if you over drip them, but the flavor is just hard to beat.

that was my idea behind getting the minis. big ass coils to fill up as much of that chamber as possible

If you haven't done a dual parallel with 26 or 28 gauge, give it a shot. Lots of surface to wick contact. Makes the Freakshow a juice pig, but I can always make more juice:D

Indeed. 28 agw for any build trying for higher than 0.24ohms by the way. Anything past that is just too much ramp up time for a single battery's voltage.

Damn, the freakshow may be the next thing on my list.
Im always leery of big holes under juice wells though, so rda's like the freakshow and the kennedy dont even blip on my 'i want this!' radar.
Until just now...

if you like the Freakshow, you will LOVE the mad hatter. Same airflow concept, better thick construction. Flavor and clouds are great. Plus..can the Freakshow do this?...;-)2015-04-18 14.21.10.jpg
