Slow Shipping?

I ordered some juice from Quit that Grit, and the shipping seems to be very slow. The tracking has not updated in 4 days. It still just says that it was scanned in PA (4 days ago), and has not been updated since then.
Is this typical? I'm about to run out of juice and become a very unhappy camper.
I enquired about the package - asked what I could do on my end. Asked if it could be lost in the mail. The response I got was: Its only slowed down. Not lost. It will arrive sooner or later.
Well I hope it will. I'm also hoping for sooner rather than later.

this seems to be the new thing with the usps lately. All of my last orders from any company have been this way. I would rather see no tracking instead of it looking like its been sitting around for a week. Your order will arrive.

Thanks. I'm certainly hoping it will. Oh, by the way, I'm not saying anything negative about quit that grit. They did what they were supposed to. The juice was in the mail immediately. Can't ask for more than that. I want to be clear that usps is who dropped the ball.
If this is a common thing with every company these days I guess I will just have to order well in advance.

It's a common thing with the postal system. I've had things like that stagnate with few to no tracking updates and then POOF!, it's in my mailbox.
If I were a merchant, I'd be highly perturbed if I'd paid for tracking that wasn't being provided.

I agree, once its in USPS's hands they either scan it regular at all stops like they are supposed to or send it on off to it's next stop without bothering to scan it.

Pretty normal for the USPS IMHO. That's why UPS and Fedex are making money, people want their packages when they are promised. The big fail though is Fedex Smartpost. The package will be in my local PO in 2-3 days from anywhere in the USA. Then it takes a week for those folks to pull their heads out of their asses and deliver it.

UPS is doing the same thing now, dumping packages at the post office so that USPS ends up delivering it, making it pointless to use the cheap UPS service as an alternative to USPS because it ends up there anyway.

I have noticed this too. A lot of UPS packages are delivered by my mail lady, or wind up in my mailbox. How the hell does this happen? Why is usps delivering ups packages?

For the same reason why a lot of local newspapers have shit-canned their carriers and switched to using the Post Office: it's usually cheaper. USPS is hurting for business...they've been largely irrelevant for many years now, which is why stamp prices are ridiculous and they're shutting down small town offices. They are offering big discounts for bulk delivery.

Like anything else that's government-run, the employees are overpaid and suck at what they do.

USPS is absolutely horrible, there online tracking is a joke. last week I ordered something and paid for 2 day expedited , i placed my order at about 6 am on a Monday and got it late Thursday evening. the seller sent it out the same day i ordered since it was early but it still took them till Thursday? and tracking.... no updates until it was delivered then all the checkpoints popped up at once. I do everything possible to avoid usBS and you should to

My order DID eventually make it here. I can tell you this much - it was worth the extra wait. Good juice @ quit that grit.
