Well sort of...I recently got a freakshow mini with the 24K Gold Plated matching drip tip, (both project sub-ohm). This thing is great, love every aspect of it, except one, when I fire it and take a good draw, im getting a slight shocking from the drip tip, it does get hot, but not enough to cause alarm, I mean no hotter than my Atlantis. I checked the coil to make sure it wasn't touching anything but it's posts, and everything looks good. Just kind of confused with the shocks from the drip tip. Any advice?

Vapor Flask DNA 40. I took the tiger coil out that was in it previously and wrapped a new coil, 24G 7 wraps around 3mm Kuro coiler, running better now and no "shocks", but the tiger wire must have hit the sides of the freakshow mini cap as the Flask gave me a "short" error. Still not sure as it was running fine for a few days up until this evening.

Yeah, if the mod is regulated, I'd say you had a short in your atty. It's not called the Freakshow for nothing I guess :)
Glad to hear you solved your problem.

Check your insulators to make sure they are not cracked, make sure the coils are at least 2mm above the air channels. Are you using it on a hybrid top cap mod? Check to see if the positive center post is not spinning and is tight.

No hybrid top cap, just standard Freakshow Mini. It's tough to space the coils high or low do to the shortness of the cap, but I'll give that a go next time. Setter post isn't spinning either and is tight. But as is now it's running flawlessly, just intrigued as to how the Flask/DNA40 only saw a short right when I went to rebuild, and not when it was giving me the shocks for quite some time. Board error perhaps?

Nope, its the build, I'm pretty certain about that since I've had that happen with my Sig150 and another type of dripper....
