What fucks me up is that they have to study and then re-study all of the shit that vapers have been saying for atleast 5 years.
screw the scientists and their grant money, ask an ex smoker/current vaper.
I'm glad they're out there so we have more proof when it comes to throwing blows with BT and pharma but a simple census survey would do the same.

Well...

I think there NEEDS to be studies. But I really think they are needing to be long term ones looking at the flavorings and PG/VG. The nic doesn't worry me.

I think banning or taxing it, is just dumb as fuck. But in the least, limiting minors from using it is prudent. However, as a former smoker, I can tell you that how I feel now, tells me vaping is MUCH healthier than smoking.

Ok, just ask us all how we feel 15 years down the road For a long term study.
as far as minors are concerned, I don't know of a state in the conus that allows underage sales.
as for the last line in your post, that should be sound enough for most since it's resounded by damn near every ex smoker that has quit with the help of vaping.

The anti-vapers were up against don't give a damn about these studies.
they're losing money and that's the bottom line.
if they actually cared about health then tobbacco and half the shit pharma pumps out would be gone...

How we feel, and actual health can be two different things.

Besides, we don't know the possible risks from vaping flavorings/PG/VG. Studies NEED to be done. It's not asking much, unless you are afraid of being informed.

I know I would like to know what possible risks I may be taking, vaping long term.

If they cared, it wouldn't JUST be tobacco. What about booze, junk food, pop, and shit tons of other things that are "bad" for us.

But how can you establish long term results without the long term?
Until the time passes, it's all just theory and heresay.

By evaluation of the chemicals and compounds.
By evaluating the safety and effect on lung tissue, since these things were not "approved" for inhalation purposes.

I don't need a study to tell me water is wet, and by similar experience, I do not need a study to tell me vaping is safer than smoking.

I just got back from Jamaica, where I was able to snorkel at a reef in open water with a fairly strong current for a solid hour. I never got winded, or felt like I was even close to being short of breath. I attempted to snorkel in much calmer water in Antigua on my honeymoon 6 months before I started vaping, and I had to stop after 15 minutes because I was completely winded and unable to continue. In just 16 months, I feel like I did before I started smoking. To me, that is rock solid, undeniable proof. No study necessary.
