Is this safe?

Okay, so I just started Vaping like, 3 months ago, I went from a Mark 10, to another pen mod, to a 150 watt Smaug Box Mod with a dual coil, I now have a Panzer Black Hawk with a big dripper Single coil. I'm buying a FUHATTAN with a geyser rda, and 2 high drain batteries at 35 Amps each. Would it be safe to build a quad coil if I'm only using 1 high drain 18650 at a time? I've had my best experiences with my mechanical mod, and I want this new one, but I don't want to blow it up within a week. Please help.

As long as you are following ohms law and use your ohms meter to ensure that you are within the perimeters of your battery then you should be good. what battery is it?

It's VG/PG not PG/VG

If by 35A high drain, you mean the purple Efests, then they are 20A.
If you build higher then 0.21 preferably 0.3 you will be fine.

There are no stupid batteries, just stupid people.

These are the batteries. I'm not sure if they are Efests.

Those look like fake batteries. You need to buy from vapordna.com to get batteries.

Samsungs, VTCs, are all I use. I just grabbed some Efest 35A from vapor dna for my youtube video but I like my samsungs

As a rule of thumb, Never use any batteries with the word "Fire" in them. Get some samsungs, or Sonys

i use vtc4 and samsung 25rs and at least in my experience the samsungs seem to have a slightly better battery life and hit just as well. i generally build pretty low and have never had any battery get warm to the touch.

Could I support a quad coil in a tesla invader with an omega atomizer, and with 2 Samsung 25r's?

not what i asked lol. do you have a ohm reader? the only hiccup with the tesla would possibly be the button not being able to fire it but without knowing the ohms of your build its not easy to judge

I don't have it yet. I'm just asking if you can put a quad coil in an omega

well to run a super low ohm coil you should use a protected or at least a battery box not a single battery. tesla is a dual box only question is if the switch can handle how low you go.

Quad coils are power eaters.

Really, only folks who have been using mechs for some time, ought to be using the quad coil atties, IMO.

If you screw up, it won't take a "week" to blow up a battery. A few minutes will be enough.

If you are just wanting to build a quad coil because you think you will vape like a chimney, prepare to be disappointed. A good builder can make a sigle coil vape like a shitty built quad coil.

The vape is affected by your coil, wicking, airflow, and juice. refine what you are doing with your atty, if you want better clouds.

Exactly freemind. I have out chucked many a coil builds with a properly set up single coil

on this topic I gotta say that wicking and airflow are the most important. Ive seen people wrap sweet parallels then stuff them full of cotton and it just gets choked, thats why alot of my friends like macros. Nanos heat up super quick, remember, the more wire you use the higher your resistance. Also, if for any reason I wanted a quad coil i would use 28 guage kanthal too.

So I bought an authentic fuhattan, and a doge v2... Any suggestions on coils?

Dual macro coils.
26 gauge Kenthal.
.5 ohms total. (meaning each coil at 1.0 OHMs)

Please tell me you have a way to check resistance, and aren't just wrapping based on gauge and diameter. No battery is a safe battery if you don't know your resistance, or have a short. And it appears you pulled that battery up on ebay, GenuineCells store on ebay is my go to. Good prices and authentic batteries. Unless you get VTC's, youre probably dealing with 20 Amps, too.

Why do you want quad coil so badly? Ive been building around a year, and only recently started consistently doing dual coils, I still make crappy coils sometimes, too.

Be safe, and if you dont have a multimeter or 510 resistance reader, please get one for your own safety. They are cheap, and if you go the multimeter route you can even get one at Walmart.

yeah never build without a ohm reader
This should almost be printed in bold on the top of every page in at least the builders section. I know some people dont know better, or are given poor info, and a false sense of knowledge, but i genuinely worry when these threads pop up. The OP doesn't mention, he might have one, but the posts lead me to doubt that. It is starting to piss me off, not at the OP or others, but whoever gave or sold them the gear. Im seeing inexperienced people looking for clouds more and more, and its not good. These are not questions that should be asked after already building and vaping said build. Oh well, all we can do is try to help.

I've learned so much on here, and I'm happy to pass it on, and continue learning. This stuff just worries me.

if you go into a store to buy your first mod they should refuse to sell it to you without the purchase of a ohm meter or proof you own one. a bitch move i know but hospitals cost alot and a ohm reader does not.

I don't care if it lost me some sales, I would have a full packet of info, links to get more, and for my protection, a signature waiving liability. Also, I'd do the same about an ohm reader, and make sure they had proper batteries. I'd offer basic instruction as well, maybe a build, then tear it down and have them do one themselves with me. I certainly wouldn't send somebody out with a mech and a .2 build. I've never even built that low.

You are taking on a degree of responsibility when supplying people with this stuff, and though you shouldn't be liable for stupidity, I feel it's your obligation to teach. It's important. That doesn't eliminate the web, though, and stuff is way cheaper and more plentiful online. All you can do with a site is waive liability for misuse and put warning messages, doesn't mean they'll read them and or be followed. None of us want to lose the internet marketplace, and that unfortunately is something that is a part of it.

My last B&M purchase was actually the identical situation. I did order one online when one bay in my i2 died, but it was faulty, then the second bay died, so I overpaid for an i4. Not terribly overpaid, and I like the shop, I just don't have the money to pay B&M prices. If it's close, and or for convenience I will, but juice and hardware are way overpriced. Can't live without a charger, though, even though I have tons of batteries.

I have the geyser... Washed it out and is still new (authentic!!).. Thinking about selling it as it is a monster toy that is too advanced for me at this point. Let me know how you like it!!
