Here's the last build I did a while back now. Still vaping it. Been my adv for quite some time. I'm really enjoying this thing. And some random coils I made from Clapton. 22 gauge core wrapped with 30ga, 22 gauge core wrapped in twisted 30. Not the best looking Clapton but not too shabby for the first time I've done one

It is. I am loving it. Going to attempt my first clapton on it when I grow tried of this coil
You should try 22 paralled with twisted 26. It's makes massive I mean massive clouds and the flavor is top notch

This is a4 strand twisted 30g wrapped in 24g but none of the rdas I had at the time had post holes that was way too small

I wanna do a Clapton with braided flattened 30 and a 20 gauge core.

First diamond coil. Made from 28g, it's 1.4ohms, sitting on the istick at 20w. Came out ugly but man it has some amazing flavor.

How's it vape? you like it? I tried one a while back and my first attempt to wick it was more difficult the id like to admit but I'm gonna have to try another one soon cause that one didn't perform too well and I did have the time to mess with it to much

I love it. Vapor production is top notch and the flavor is out of this world. I've been building for a year and this is by far my favorite build. It is a pain to build and wick but so very worth it.

the fused clapton wire was made up a couple weeks ago it's parallel 24g wrapped in 34g, the other is 3 strand 26g twisted and flattened, this build is BY FAR.....THE BEST.....ABOVE ALL THE REST.....MOST AMAZING build i've ever done, flavor is like no other, beats the zipper and i said the same about the zipper's flavor, and clouds....OMG.....clouds for days, and FYI the ohm reader is off by atleast .7ohms, cause i put it in my PSO Sigelie 100w box and it won't flash anything below .15ohms so my reader is a piece of shit, but im running it on my nemesis and i thought ramp up time would be diminished but HELL NO, of course on a cold start just lik a car you gotta give it time for the first warm up.....but once she warmed up.....SHE'S WARMED UP, anyway.....If you got the time......the wire......the experience with super sub ohm building......and that oh so itchy urge for some awesome clouds then you gotta do it
2015-01-15 23.49.17.jpg 2015-01-16 00.29.26.jpg 20150115_232625_Richtone(HDR)-1.jpg20150115_232724_Richtone(HDR)-1.jpg

This is the 26g 3 strand twisted and flattened i had left over from the build above, and thought i'd try something simple and new, just over .3ohms, wrapped around the allen key for the freakshow, and them squashed in some pliers, and separated a little, this thing vapes nice too, better then i thought, clouds aint nowhere close to the build above but that's ok cause the flavor and throat hit are nice, but i'll be trying this build with some other wire in the MutX V2 instead of the freakshow because of AFC reason's, air flow directly over these would prolly be better instead of coming from the outer edge and up at an angle from the bottow air flow on the freakshow, so we'll see

First time trying this coil.. Twisted 28g with flat ribbon wire wrapped around it. Only took me 4 tries xD Flavor and vapor production is pretty nice.

the same 26g zipper wire i've had for the past couple builds parallel with 24g, right around .2 ohms, vapes real nice, not as hard as the fused clapton wit the zipper wire but its still an amazing flavor wit good clouds

Technically not my first build as I have rebuilt the Atlantis a couple of times, but my first RDA.

Dual 24g kanthal
6 wraps over 3.0mm
Vertical install

I did not get a picture of how I wicked it, but I took I piece of Japanese cotton and kneeded it to length and diameter I could work with, then I feed each end throught the top of the coil so that cotton was over the center post. Then I split the cotton in half below the coil and tucked it under. This thing chucks clouds and has awesome flavor

What RDA is that? and how do you like the vertical setup? I aint done one in an RDA yet but I hear it's a good setup

The new Mutation X on top of a hammer mod clone, the build came out to .36 ohm.

Aside from the somewhat pain in the ass method of wicking the build was not to bad. Building the two coils to be damn near mirror image of each other took a little time. the flavor and vapor are really good, does not burn through juice or batteries.
Being a novice I don't have much to compare it against other builds, but from reading every post, review and tutorial on the interwebs on coil builds and RDA's this is a solid RDA and build. I like having two screws on the center post, super easy to build on.

so i was just screwing around down in my shop, and stumbled upon this gem as i was fucking around, might not be pretty but the flavor is out of this world, so i started with thirty gauge, and made double twisted out of it. then i took two strands of the double twisted, and twisted those together, i then ran parallel with a strand of the now double quad twisted, and a strand of the regular double twisted, for 6 wraps. it ohms in at .34, running it in my plume veil on a mech, and the flavor is incredible, the smaller wire heats up first, then the larger kicks in. it starts out smooth, the its just a flavor kick in the nuts. and the vapor productio is definatly up there

4 strands of ribbon wire 24g with a strand of 26g on each side clapton'd in 34g ran in parallel with 24g
I posted pics to show how i wicked in my big dripper V2 which doesn't have enough air flow so I put in my MutXV2 which I posted a pic of how it looks today after vaping it last night for an hour or so and today, Flavor and Clouds for days running at 65-75watts on the box right at .15ohms

I don't know how the hell you guys manage to do those fancy builds with twisted wires etc. I struggle just to get two coils into one addy if I don't make the legs perfectly shaped to slide right into place. Hell, the quad I did below took me over an hour of fiddling with needle nose pliers and tweezers to get the coils into place, and they still aren't very straight.

So, nothing fancy here. Two setups I did today:

Left is dual 8.5 wrap 22 gauge, 0.18 ohm on a Mutation X V2 clone
Right is a quad (dual sleeper?) ~8 wrap, 24 gauge, 0.28 ohm on a Poseidon clone

Did another 2 RDAs today.

Left: 454 big block clone. Quad 24 gauge, 10 wrap, 0.18ohm. Started with 5 wrap premade coils that came with a different RDA. So I don't think they are kanthol, perhaps nichrome.
Right: Aris. Dual 26 gauge, 9 wraps. 0.57 ohm.

Dug up my old Chobra genny and gave it a whack. Yes, that SS wick is ancient too.
Twisted 33 gauge kanthal, 5/6 wraps on approx 1.8-1.9mm blue screwdriver for 1.8 ohms.

Why do that? So I can run it on any of my gear and so the DIY Absinthe @ 25/75 and 16mg doesn't take my head off. ;)

All right folks, back to the basics. All day every day setup on my Tugboat V2. 0.52 ohms, great flavor and the vapor production is what it is. Flavor is even better than with these fused clapton shits and this does not spit juice up the drip tip and in to my mouth. While i do enjoy building them, i don't really like to use them. Also i can get the same notes of flavor with half the wattage.

So i decided to try something new. 8 wraps of 20ga around 4mm mandrel, sitting on the Dark Horse. Damn this thing can chuck @ 150w, clouds like i've never seen before and i've been known to chase a cloud or two.

Thx to @TheWestPole , I got my o-rings to assemble the brass KF quartz tank setup with my Orchid v4. Been working on this mod/atty combo for a couple months now. :)

Same style as Fran's Mickey Mouse Ears, I'll call it a Fluffy Bunny Ears build. ;-)

0.8 ohm, DC 10-wraps each of 28 gauge Kanthal, on a 2.4mm screwdriver. Wicked with Labo J.C.
Did a slight angled bend on the leg to properly line them up with the airholes this time.

This is the Cigabuye Orchid v4 I won in the contest. About the same as my Focal one I'd bought, but with a brass 510 instead of copper.

Specs: http://coiltoy.ermeso.com/?import$119$0$6$2$240$0$3$40$0$8$0$

Full Album: http://imgur.com/a/88MKS

(L) Wicked and (R) just moistened with juice

Yeah, I don't blow clouds, but this'll do with 16mg 20/80 juice

She is chucking the vapor and the flavor is amazing.

This is 28g chain twisted wire - two strands twisted one direction and then folded in half and twisted the opposite until the wire starts seperating and looks like a chain and I flattened it like you do zipper wire and did two set in opposite directions in a zipper style coil, vaping it on the box at 45w is perfect, anything higher then that it wicks to quick and dry's out to fast, and is kinda harsh with the throat hit, @ 45w its awesome...nice smooth vape with awesome flavor

My first Staged Heating Coil - Chain Link Wire - 28 G & Tidal Wire - 32 G - The coil holds a ton of juice and wicks really well, really dense vapor even with the air hole wide open. Set up on the Mephisto RDA. I didn't think the staged heating coil would make that big of a difference but it's a really intense vape.

Edit: 4 Wraps not 3 wraps.

Found my 'ol Smok RDA clone. It had a 1.8 ohm build on it, I didn't like it.

Took a wrap off and made it into a 1.5 ohm jobber. Rewicked with JC as well.
I figured it was 32 gauge kanthal wrapped on a syringe. So, somewhere around 1.3mm or so. It's now a 5/6 wrap.

Very micro-coiled, this.

Tiki approves?
