So, I'm looking to trade a bit of one hobby to expand my vape hobby. What I have here is an Angelsword (www.angelsword.com) balrog knife. If you aren't familiar with Angelsword, please check out their site. They are a very high end, hand-forged knife/sword company located in Texas. Arguably one of the best in the world.

They guarantee their work to the point that any piece may be traded in at at least full purchase price towards the purchase of a more expensive piece. Generally trade-in value is higher than purchase price as they've increased in value.

The piece that I am looking to trade is a balrog knife. Micah, the office manager, recently appraised it at $495 and I can provide the email chain along with the pictures to prove it.

What I'm looking for are new or like new, authentic mechanical mods, RDAs, maybe a box mod. I'm not necessarily looking to get $495 worth of gear, but I will definitely look at any reasonable offers. If interested, please feel free to post here or PM me.

My, that is damn beautiful.
Kind of an odd angle on the grind tho?

I can't afford shit, but I have a $12 Mora 510 ya can shave with. ;)

Got nothing for that, but had to comment...GLWTS/Trade!

Regarding the grind, honestly I don't question them about anything, accepting that they know a hell of a lot more than I do or ever will.

Thank you though! I definitely love it, but it is the least favorite of the three, so the first to go. I'll post the other two for drool catchers.

The red handled wood is a damascus blade, just very fine lines, hard to catch on camera.

I am always lookng to expand my custom knife collection, but I have to agree with @CaFF on that knife grind angle, looks like a flat pc of steel from the picture?

Partial to a convex grind, if you have anything else I am always looking for custom knives.

Give me an email with more info on that thing or more pictures, or any other knives. I don't pay auction appraised prices though. definitely not in this ecomomy.

FWIW, my 'lil baby...I use for a 'petty' knife in the kitchen. :)
Sharpened to the highest grit DMT offers, on a secondary angle. Not gonna mess with a Scandi grind..

Did the forced patina myself for fun. =)
It's faded into a general opalescent gray over time, as carbon steel is wont to do, but it was fun to do.

I'll get a couple better pics this evening. My camera skills aren't great, probably the problem.

As for the price I was quoted, that was the amount of credit that AS would give if the knife were to be traded into them for another piece.

Love the Mora knives.

Did ya know, it's another knife company Jim Frost owns?

Thx, and ya, I know about the Frost connection to Morakniv, I just ignore it. ;)

Ya been to this site? fun shit happens...

http://www.ragweedforge.com/SwedishKnifeCatalog.html

He has a lot of other godo stuff too on the main site.
Kicking myself for not grabbing a 18" carbon steel monster Mora he had listed once. It was old, has minor rusty spots and had been in a warehouse for years, but !!

Imagine a machete-sized carbon steel Mora...It was $17.

I can't afford a vintage Sab, but I gots me a Mora 510. ;-)

FYI, since I didn't get any real interest here, I've put all 3 up on eBay. Can search Angelsword to see them. I'd be happy to take them down though if anyone wants to make a deal still.

Does my claymore count as a sharp pointy object?

I don't know give it a try and we will read about it in the paper.............:)

Paper my sweet ass!

If I ever got drunk and pissed enough to take it off of the wall in my den/office and use it on a person or people that displeased me, it would be on the news for weeks as I am actually large enough to use the sucker.

And there is no use in having sharp/pointy things unless they are as sharp as sharp can be!

I can also assure you that it took me for freaking EVER to sharpen the thing to my liking. Sharpies (no pun intended) were used to mark my progress as I sharpend it with three different stones at three different angles.

And it was all done with the Mrs. out of the house for my own protection!

As I am not too sharp I don't get your point. I have no Idea what ofended the so much as to threaten one with a claymore.
