I love You Philip Morris. Really odd movie starring Jim Carey. Wasn't terrible. Just different.

I watched Birds of Prey last night. It's a Harly Quinn movies. As far as comic book movies go it was ok. Lots of fight scenes and some funny comedy. If you like those kind of movies it's worth watching but nothing spectacular.

Ok. Did not know about this movie made here in Oz back in 2016. Nothing much on tv tonight so watched it. Not the greatest movie I have ever seen but was very surprised that it was about a guy who came back from overseas, was diagnosed with Corona Virus, put into lockdown isolation in his home and told the virus came from an animal!
I'll leave it there so as not to do a spoiler for anyone who might want to watch it.
But it did very much in the things I mentioned surprise me. Even social distancing was mentioned!
Just so it's clear. I in no way think Corona is funny, even though this is supposed to be a comedy. It was made 4 years ago and it has just surprised me the measures taken in this movie are in so many ways like what is in place now.

We had watched 1817 a couple weeks ago, then last weekend, Midway. Forgot to post those. Considering their subject matter, they were both good, but, I liked 1917 more than he did, he liked Midway more than I did.

I'm glad to help, we all gotta have something to do, right? And since you liked Extraction, he told me to ask you if you've seen American Gangster. Recommended it if you haven't.

Watched patterns of evidence earlier. Good film if you're into ancient biblical history

Yes I've seen American Gangster quite a few times, really good movie :)

Got to find something this evening, might do 1917, but as did war last night, probably look for something different.

The last movie I saw was Bloodshot. It's a Vin Diesel movie. I would give it a rating of "Don't Bother"

I watched peanut butter falcon, pretty good movie, like a feel good movie so if you’re feeling down it will put a smile on your face. It’s Shia Labeouf, Dakota Johnson, and a guy with Down’s syndrome. It will make you laugh and put you in a good mood. Definitely Worth watching

I can see the credits now...

James............Mike Smith
Sally...............Joan Adams
Bob................A guy with Down’s syndrome
I didn’t know his name so I just described him. The movie revolves around him pretty much and he is the peanut butter falcon.

Watched “Den of Thieves”...

Wasn’t good, but it wasn’t horrible like Sharknado

 You dont like Sharknado!?
I got the box set just recently, along with Robson Green Extreme fishing adventure pack.
There are 6 Sharknado's, I'll admit number 1 is kinda lame, 2 gets better, 3 is funny entertaining and yet to watch 4, 5 and 6. They do get better and funnier as they go along. Better than most of the profane garbage we get here most nights. Which probably doesn't say much for our Aussie TV.
Go Sharknado! :D
They are very entertaining

The hoarder and a bunch of other Prime videos. Decided to get it back so been binging that shit. Lol

I missed a payment and they canceled me. I’m not sure if I want to go through the whole sign up thing again. I have no idea what my Amazon info is.

Hi. Was it good? I get movies from our library for nothing to watch and they will be open in several weeks from the shutdown. I can order them and they have that on the list of dvds. Thumbs up or down?
From both of us, definitely a big thumbs up! I had no real idea what it was about, but heard so much talk about it, wanted to give it a shot. It'll be subtitled, so be prepared for that. Subtitles don't bother me. Very different, very good.

Cool, no worries. Dont mind subtitles when the movie is good. We have a free to air tv chanel here called SBS that has movies from all over the world, many subtitled. And many very good too. :)
Edit..
Often near Xmas this is shown on SBS. Its awesome but dont let the little kids watch it. :D
This ones very good too. The dubbed version sounds dumb. It actually is better in subtitles.

Grant on the History Channel is really good. It's a 3 day mini series and today was day one. It' well worth trying to snag it on On Demand to see the first episode. Tonight's episode was about U. S. Grant from his childhood to the battle of Shiloh.

How was this, Huck?
We really enjoyed it. It definitely earned all the nods it received. I had never heard of it til any of the awards shows, earlier in the year. I kept putting it off, putting it off, but so glad we watched it. I don't want to give anything away, but it really was like nothing I've seen.
